The files about cut off marks

I can't attach the file containing the practice questions, nairaland tells me it is too large. This is the file showing statistics as regards unilag admission this year

@phoenix i'll be 16 on October 24th, am i eligible for admission?? cos i read dat a student must be 16 on or before oct 1st on d yr of his/her candidture.I was told to do an affidavit but d problem is dat my date of birth is on my testimonial nd i have registered 4 jamb wit it.Can i still be given admission??

@ emma_esty. The fact is that u re not eligible for this year's admission process but then, an affidavit can be sworn to that effect. I had a similar problem(that was the reason I emphasised it in my previous post)but an affidavit took care of it. An affidavit invalidate other dates so you should be fine.

I don't really understand all dis affidavit issues.My friend's father told me dat i'll have to lie dat i've misplaced my birth certificate nd i need to present it for admission purposes but won't they know dat i'm lying since my date of birth is on my testimonial.

Like I said earlier, the affidavit invalidates other dates. Just take your mind off the issue for now and concentrate on scoring high in Jamb.

Mehn, i am new in here bt av been followin since last year.pls guys dnt try to make any sily mistake in ur subject combination coz it happend to me last year.my name was number 3 on d merit list bt here am i tryin to take another jamb.so pls wise up nd i wish every one gud luck

@ all, when u get 2 d bridge, u cross but d most important tin now is ur preparation and scoring high marks in utme, like 260 and above fo better chances. @ date of birth issues, u hv 2 worry now, when u re offered admission, u can arrange for new birth certificate @ little or no cost and beg ur principal 2 change d birth date on ur testimonials.

Plz i wana knw d ryt utme subject combinations for phylosophy, nd olevel requirements, wish i kud get a quick reply.cus i dnt av lit-in eng,or igbo or yoruba

@phoenix i have a friend who applied 4 law with a jamb combination of eng,lit-in-eng,gov't and crk.O'level result;crk-d7,lit-in-eng-c5,yor-b3,agric-b3,gov't-c6,eng-c5,econs-c5 nd maths-c6.Is it okay?

@Esty Her subject combination for utmte is okay, also, the brochure states 'five'o' level credit passes to include English language, literature in english and mathematics' so she should be fine.

Yes with your O'level intact. They'll give u high preference.

U can apply 4 Philosophy.
Second question; use the brochure yourself. I think this thread is not for trivial questions as this because we are not encouraging laziness, and if u end up been admitted, UNILAG does not trained slothful folks. What if I or any other person on this thread give you d wrong subject combination -when u now have problems during registration after been admitted, can u reserve it? Emphatic no, Do some things for yourself to avoid irreversible negative result. No offense plz,

Unilag would never accept u choosing them as a second choice so it's not safe at all. According to my honourable Don1dee ur o' level is ok!

the cut off mark is not fixed it varies. So last year's was Merit 72,Ekiti 69,Lagos 69,Ogun 71,Ondo 68,Osun 69 nd Oyo 69. The cut off mark is given according to candidates general performance in the examination of each department. So this is why one can never predict the cut off. All u need to aim at is putting ur best and scoring high then God will see u tru d rest.
