...set to flag off 3-day free Medical Outreach

Moved by a genuine love for service and compassion towards the welfare of others, the Member representing Nsit Ubium State Constituency, Rt. Hon.(Barr.) Otobong Bob is set to give an early Valentine's gift to his constituents.

This act of love is being expressed through a well-thought-out medical outreach, packaged by the Deputy House Leader of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly to his Nsit Ubium constituents.

Considering healthcare as an essential need to man, the outreach is made to last for 3 days to attain as many people as possible, as it is to be kick-started on Thursday, February 13, to Saturday, February 15, 2025, from 8:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m daily at the Primary Health Centre in Ikot Edibon, Nsit Ubium LGA.

The free medical outreach is expected to meet the health needs of people through diagnoses, treatments, surgeries, eye tests, prescription and distribution of free eyeglasses as well as general health check-ups, among others.

Speaking with newsmen on Tuesday in Uyo, the Lawmaker affirmed his commitment to prioritising the health and well-being of his people, stressing his willingness to engage in more impactful programmes that will culminate in the betterment of Nsit Ubium people.

He urged his constituents to make the most of the opportunity by turning out to get treatments, resting assured that a team of competent health professionals would be deployed to be at their services throughout the exercise.
