TOPIC: INTEGRITY IN MISSION – Christ’s Resurrection

BIBLE VERSE:
"...It is finished..." John 19:30

These were some of the last words Jesus spoke before His death on the cross. They were not words of defeat but of victory and fulfillment. Jesus had completed His mission exactly as God intended—without compromise, without shortcuts, and with full obedience.

From His birth to His resurrection, Jesus lived with unwavering integrity. He remained faithful to His divine purpose, enduring rejection, persecution, and suffering without deviating from God’s plan. Even when He was tempted in the wilderness (Matthew 4:1-11) and when He prayed in Gethsemane (Luke 22:42), He stayed true to His mission.

The resurrection of Christ is the ultimate proof that integrity in mission leads to victory. If Jesus had abandoned His mission or compromised, there would be no salvation. But because He remained faithful, we have eternal life.

This teaches you that God calls you to complete your own mission with integrity. Whether in ministry, business, relationships, or personal growth, you must avoid shortcuts, dishonesty, or selfish ambitions. True success comes from staying faithful to God’s purpose, even when it is difficult.

LESSON:

Jesus finished His mission with integrity—He did not quit or compromise.

God honours those who remain faithful to their purpose despite challenges.

Shortcuts may seem appealing, but true success comes through perseverance.

The resurrection proves that integrity in mission leads to ultimate victory.

SELF-ANALYSIS:

Am I fully committed to fulfilling God’s purpose for my life?

Do I take shortcuts or compromise when faced with difficulties?

Am I staying true to my calling, even when it requires sacrifice?

How can I ensure that I finish my mission with the same integrity that Christ demonstrated?

PRAYER:

Lord Jesus, thank You for remaining faithful to Your mission and finished the work God gave You with integrity. Help me to follow Your example. Give me the strength to stay committed to my purpose, even when faced with challenges. Keep me from seeking shortcuts or compromising my values. May I fulfill my calling with the same dedication, obedience, and perseverance that You showed. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
