The Prof is right.
This same thing happened in Plateau state. Based on the judgement of the Supreme Court, which nullified the judgement of the appeal court against the Governor Muftwang, the National Assembly and state Assemblies couldn't benefit from the same judgement as Supreme Court lack the mandate of law over matters of National Assembly elections. While Supreme Court can make ruling, it's not in it's right to entertain matters pertaining to Local government election.

Prion disease brain rot is endemic to that region where cannibalism was once rampant.

Is it his village juju shrine that can only entertain matters involving local government admistration?

And this ewü is allowed to train the next generation of charge-n-bail lawyers disturbing our peace with their congenital Kuru prion disease .

EmeeNaka:
The Prof is right

As long as there are governing laws encoded I the constitution that guides the operation of local governments, the Supreme Court has full jurisdiction to entertain any case relating to Local Government admistration.

The Supreme court also has full Sovereign rights over any judicious matter that is brought before it

Madness is endemic to that your yeast and this obviously mad Prof is testament to this scourge

Madness is when you conflate the legislative branch to the third tier of the executive branch.

You're talking about Local government administration. The Prof is talking about Local government election, which the Law has mandated certain categories of judiciary to entertain. Supreme Court is not a law unto itself. It's formed of law and must obey the law of the country in it's operations.

That your prof is mad and confused.

There are designated courts to handle certain matters but that doesn't mean that the Supreme court can not entertain a suit brought before it for reconsideration after a lowe court and the Appeal court have ruled over it

There's a reason it's called the Supreme court and that's because it can have the final say on any judicious matter brought before any court in the land.

Some Nigerian lawyers are terrible. If you go to appeal court and still not satisfied won't you go to the supreme court?

supreme court does not withdraw law certificate. University issues law certificate and the Nigerian law school gives LLB. The LPDP debars erring lawyers.

Its called "The supreme court of Nigeria". Its jurisdiction is basically everywhere in Nigeria.

Its like saying the President or the National assembly has no jurisdiction on a local government issue.

That's why I don't get it when governors act like gods in their state and some even boast has if the president, fedral government has no power in their state,
The president has power over everywhere in Nigeria even the governor is just one more of his subject.
