So life expectancy is low, poverty is high, and the GDP is “growing” according to the government... sounds like some people are getting rich off the chaos while the rest of us are just statistics. 🤔 56 Likes 7 Shares |

The system is out to suppress and kill you, business men and women want to make excess profit, fake drug peddlers are out to get you, artisans are charging exorbitantly, food price dey increase, landlord dey press your neck, transport cost, For those with children school fees dey increase everyday. Why won't life expectancy be low. Spits 11 Likes 1 Share |

I'm curious to know how the life expectancy of 54.6 years in Nigeria was determined. It seems questionable, as many Nigerians live well beyond 54 years. It seems like someone just pulled this number out of thin air and labeled it as Nigeria's life expectancy, and others blindly believe it. In my opinion, the average life expectancy in Nigeria is between 60 to 65 years. Peace! 6 Likes |

Surprisingly, Life Expectancy metrics in this case did not account for eventualities. This is a natural life expectancy threshold. Should it take into account the number of people being killed by Accidents, Sicknesses and diseases, insecurity, hunger and poverty, drug abuse, Domestic violence and Suicide, the expectancy will be lower. Nigerians are made of steel, if you are able to live to 80-100 in Nigeria, you should be specimen for study on longevity. 2 Likes 1 Share |

GanagiBitrus:It was 58 for men and 60 for women 12 years ago. This stat is factually correct, how many times do you see 70 to 80 years old obituaries? It’s usually 50 to 65 mostly. 4 Likes |
