Over 150 Hostages Rescued From Hijacked Train In Pakistan, 27 Rebels Killed. by Botragelad: 8:43am On Mar 12
Jaffar Express was intercepted by armed attackers in a remote area of Balochistan
Over 150 hostages have been freed after armed rebels hijacked a train carrying over 400 passengers in Pakistan's restive Balochistan region. At least 27 rebels have been killed in a firefight with the forces
, suggest reports.

The security forces managed to rescue 155 hostages after a gunfight with the rebels. The rescued passengers - including dozens of women and children - were taken to Mach, a nearby town where a makeshift hospital has been set up.The gunfight between the rebels of the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) and the Pakistani forces continued overnight. It's not clear how many hostages remained on board Jaffar Express. The BLA has denied any casualties and claimed to have killed 30 soldiers, which has not been confirmed by authorities.
A group of rebels was believed to have taken some of the hostages into the mountains and were being pursued by the security forces, while the rest were holding the locomotive.Reports suggest they had split in small groups to try to escape in the dark, but the military forces said they surrounded the tunnel with the mountainous terrain posing difficulty to the security operation.

The Jaffar Express was intercepted by armed attackers in a tunnel in a remote area on its way from Quetta to Peshawar. At least 400 passengers were in its nine bogies. The route was made operational after a month-long suspension. The hijacking was later claimed by the BLA, the strongest separatist group in the region seeking independence for Balochistan. They blew up the tracks, forcing it to come to a halt in a tunnel and also killed the locomotive driver.

The BLA demanded the release of Baloch political prisoners and missing persons whom they said were kidnapped by the military, within 48 hours. If the demands were not met, they threatened to "completely destroy" the train. The group also threatened to execute 10 hostages in response to the military operation.Emergency desks have been set up at Peshawar and Quetta railway stations to help the relatives of the passengers held hostage by the rebels.
Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has condemned the "cowardly" attack during the fasting month of Ramzan. "We will continue the fight against the monster of terrorism until it is completely eradicated from the country. We will thwart every conspiracy to spread unrest and chaos in Pakistan," read a statement shared by Pakistan PMO.Balochistan has seen deadly clashes in the past few months, besides enforced disappearances of civilians allegedly by the state forces. Last November, a suicide blast killed 26 people and injured 62 others.

Right, so this is a follow-up from my earlier post regarding the train hijacking. The Pakistani military acted quick and appear to have rescued some of the hostages.

According to madridguy, softmirror, God1000 and other supporters of Hamas, the Pakistani government are committing genocide by killing the rebels. They believe the Pakistani government should have negotiated with them, granted them land, released their leaders, and issued an apology.

Also, madridguy apparently views the train attack as an act of resistance against the Pakistani government's occupation and believes it should be encouraged at every opportunity.
So, here's a question for Madridguy; Do you agree that Hamas terrorists and all those who participated in October 7 should be killed?

You want to imagine what they might have gone through while in hostage from wicked and inhumane people.

May we or our loved ones never fall victim of any sort of kidnapping or bandits attacks.

That's how it is done. Not here that terrorists will take over a train, operate for hours before taking the passengers into the bush for months as hostages and the Nigerian military can have no response.

A job well done by the Pakistani Army.

Botragelad, when I say Isreali Army cannot face their fellow men you will be angry.
I believe now you can see how trained Army act unlike your tiny IDF.

You are so pained that the Pakistani Army didn't go into Balochistan and start killing babies, killing and raping their women, killing and arresting their children or the aged people and tagged them Balochistan Liberation Army.

I hope you can see how a well and organised Army works?

The reporter are not targeted and tagged them with the liberation group. Now you can see how sane Army force work.

This singular act shows our security agencies has bn compromise.we all know how it took so much time before d Kaduna train victims were freed.when we are ready to end insurgency in dis country all this kidnapping and killing will end.we should all take a moment and ask ourselves what happened to our military that was d strongest in Africa and one of d strongest in d world that they can't solve d issue of insurgency in this country?

HAMAS delayed in the October 7, they should have done that earlier to save their people in different cell under the IDF. They should have act swiftly instead of waiting till that Oct 7.

You’re equating the Pakistani military’s domestic counter-terrorism op in Balochistan, their own sovereign territory to the IDF confronting Hamas, a globally designated terror group embedded in civilian infrastructure. Are you okay? 😂😂

When Hamas fires rockets from schools or tunnels under hospitals, does your outrage extend to their Coward tactics? Or is it only the IDF that’s expected to fight terrorism with one hand tied behind its back?

Why do you remain silent when Hamas uses children as human shields! When the IDF issues warnings, evacuates entire neighbourhoods, or pauses operations to allow humanitarian corridors, practices Hamas exploits to regroup, when have you ever said a thing.

“Organised armies,” indeed 😂. Pakistan does conduct raids (Waziristan as an example), do they politely ask the rebels to vacate civilians first?
Should sovereign states simply negotiate with groups that vow their annihilation (Hamas’s charter)?
