i do not have close to the amount of money Kante has at the moment, but believe you me i will never dress ragtag like an Amajiri the way he is currently doing. i do not go after popular designers like Gucci, Versace and co. but i dress very well and if you see me outside you will call my dress class and expensive. i cannot make money and be stingy to myself and i don't brag to people around me and i don't showoff either that is called modesty. thank you. go and read the story of the most stingiest woman in the world then you will know what i am talking about.

that is not what I asked you.

1. how is Kante stingy to himself?

2. can you with hard evidence tell nairaland Kantes income and how he spends his income?

3. can you also share your income and explain how much of your income you spend on clothing and shoes per month since you are not stingy to yourself and do not have poverty mentality?

Look you can't be the judge over anybody's life - that guy has chosen his way of life and that settles it for him and I love it - do you know how philanthropic he is to the people of mali 🇲🇱 if not go and read about him before putting up this argument. With what you have said about igolo you deserve beta flogging which means you can as well say the same for Sado Mane.

Read good books and people biographies, not the world's stingy people, and stop being a judge over people life, you don't know water about them🎗️they are not your family members.

power44t:
Then you know him so well to say he is modest. or maybe you gave birth to him. Point i am trying to make is not everyone who is stingy to themselves you call been modest. guess you have heard of that Nollywood movie where the actor was stingy to himself and he calld it modesty up to the point he wouldn't ever spend money on hospital to treat himself and ended up dead only for his children to lavish everything he owned and wouldn't spend, his ghost was actually watching them spending the money reckless and his ghost lived in regret. have you read the story of the most stingiest woman in the world. it is not so far from Kante you are praising as been modest now. I can only agree with you that he is modest if i see anywhere that he spends some part of his money helping his community. else to me he is stingy and doesn't understand the concept of money. does he want to take this money to heaven or he just wants to amass wealth for his generation to come.

There is a story (don't know its true or not) about how Fela Kuti bought a Mercedes Benz station wagon in the 1970s...only to put firewood on the car's roof racks and drive it all over the place - with the firewood firmly tied in place.

Some people were said to be very angry that a treasured status symbol was being used in this manner. But we hear Fela didn't really care what they thought.

does money fit you?

if $150 shoe is not rich man shoe, how many shoes do you presently have that cost $150?

The problem with most of you is your lack of exposure. The minimum wage in France €1800 monthly. Do you now see that a primary school teacher can afford to buy that shoe and still consider the shoe average?

Because you cannot afford a Starbucks cup of coffee for $7, doesn't mean it's luxury to the average American

Your question is off point. First, you don't know where I stay. Because the economic standard in Nigeria is at the lowest ebb does not mean we share the same experience

That's why people like you will find yourself in government and embezzle billions, because everything in your life revolves around impressing to oppress others. Little wonder why our so-called politicians steal with reckless abandon just to live above their means?

Maybe you have a serious comprehension problem. i already stated clearly that Kante earns for more than me and even at that i cannot dress like an Amajiri, maybe poverty has finished you, you can start by telling us how much you earn and how much you spend on clothing's and shoes. maybe you are looking for someone to kidnap, that is why you are insisting i tell you my earnings, look elsewhere.

maybe you have a serious comprehension problem. stinginess is stinginess, poverty mentality is very bad. change your mentality concerning money. If he is doing all of these to please hypocrites like you, then he should realized he has lost it. and i am not saying he should buy luxurios things, but at least let him dress nice and modest and not let the dirty ragtag cloths he is putting on. i give out my old clothes at least twice every year to the less privilege's around me and trust me the clothes i give out are far more better than what Kante is putting on in those pictures. i do not make up to 1% of what he earns monthly so that tell alot, you hear.

You are right, but cloth alone doesnt determine how well one is looking after themselves.

You can buy a millon dollar shirt and deem it to be fine, while same cloth might or looks shabby on you.

Not everyone cares for flamboyant cloths even when they can well afford it. Some like dressing simple and neat. Most rich men are like that. They dont dress to impress anyone. Only poor folks do...
