The viral video has sparked widespread reactions online, with many people questioning why such a massive number of cows would be transported at such an odd hour.

Those cows are almost certainly owned by a local "big man". The fulani herders are hired to look after the cows. The fulani herders depend on the cows for their livelihood even if they don't own the cows and will do everything and anything to protect the animals.
