ASUU Strike: Meeting between Federal
Government and Academic Staff Union of
Universities (ASUU) ended without reaching a
compromise.
ASUU President said he will take back FG's
offer to the National Executive Council of the
union for deliberation either to suspend the
strike action or to continue.
He however did not say when the NEC
meeting will be held.

The Academic Staff Union of Universities has
said its national Executive Council will decide
on when it would call off its ongoing strike.
ASUU President, Prof. Ukachuwkwu Awuzie,
who stated this to journalists in Abuja after a
meeting with the Federal Government, said
the decision would be made by the NEC.
