Hello nairalanders, i need an idea on how i can integrate sms to a online registration form (php, html, aspx etc). please fill me with your ideas, remember the api must not show ones user and password so i need your ideas. thanks

You can do this in PHP using either cURL or AJAX. That way the call to the SMS gateway happens behind the user.

u can even use file_get_contents or fsockets, so many options really depending on your sms gateway like dualcore hinted.

file_get_contents will pull contents but cannot pass $_GET /$_POST to another server with HTTP Headers, if the script expected an header it could stop it. CURL is the reasonable way. @2k sending the stuff

^^^^well, it depends on if you are using GET or POST. Some sms gateways support file_get_contents, well, i gave lots of options - in addition to what dual core says. It is the SMS gateway API that will determine what you can use.
