GGMU! he got it right cos we were trailing - ordinarily, he wouldn't have gotten chicharito on the pitch. the team that started was too good to have conceded goals & trail at home. my frustration was the sheer number of ineffective aerial incursions that stoke defenders were dealing with at ease..... |

I think our greatest undoing today was to approach (start) the match with so much speed. We should have kept it slow, low and close from the start. Second half was better because we approach it with patience, then the substitutions. |

@ least we haven't entirely forgotten how to snatch victory from the doldrums of defeat. . If Rooney can accept a bob-to-box CM role  @ least as a stop gap till January, then we get a good midfielder.. The performance wasn't bad, our recent knack for making school-girl errors @ the back just made the match unnecessarily difficult. I think the team is getting better keeping the ball & creating chances which has been grossly absent these past weeks. . Moyes should find a defensive pattern that eradicates these costly errors & improves our COUNTER ATTACKS! I don't remember us getting a goal directly from a quick counter this season bar Swansea |

That was a hard watch initially and just relief at the end. I think Smalling should have played in the middle with Jones at RB. Nani was poor which is a shame as I expect he'll be dropped now. The win just papered over the cracks but I hope it can spur us on to a bit of form till January. I have to say despite the win I've almost lost all faith in Moyes. I still don't think he's the man to take us forward in a new era. I'll still like to give him time but I just hope he doesn't make irreparable damage to the team and we realise it too late. On to the next one. |

That means Coogar owes me ...... With this Rooney pass accuracy. I guess his pass accuracy against Sociedad, Lebverkusen and Chelsea shoulld be very high too. |
