The thing is Man U board are not seeing what they are spending for cos Mou style is boring and defensive and he keeps asking for signings.

Then why back Mourinho by giving him a new contract? While majority of us was livid with rage at how United were playing drab football under Mourinho, the board showed they trusted the work Mourinho was doing, and maybe saw something we the fans weren't seeing, and handed him a new contract before his was to expire next season. That's the highest form of approval coaches can get.

Since instead of wisely not giving Mourinho a new contract till he delivered, and if he doesn't, he can leave after next season, why give him a new contract and refuse to get him some of the players he asked for? If the board weren't seeing benefit for their formerly acquired players, the sane thing to do was to sack Mourinho or deny him a new contract. Why back him with a new deal and leave him hanging when he'd given Woody a list before the season ended?

If anything goes wrong, I won't blame Mourinho alone, I must blame the board that gave him a new contract without getting him some of his demanded targets.

* If we don't buy players, it is an opportunity for us to see the best of the current players. There will be no hiding place for anyone. Martial will have plenty playing time.

We should know too that these players have matured playing together over the years, so they should do better. Fresh legs are always a plus though

* That number 10 jersey doesn't fit Rashford
