Tobex4realTobex234: Those who know what can be achieved with online education be it proper degrees or short courses will not argue with this. Who are stuck in the stone age like Nigeria's laws on education and the near total stranglehold on education by the FG who rarely ever responds to seismic changes in reasonable time will If you want to be a useful global citizen playing in an era of globalization then don't argue with the quoted OP. If you want to be a local champion stay where you are. 1 Like |

LagosInter: Lol. There are 2 categories of online learning. 1. Traditional universities that offer their programmes online. 2. Online universities that are entirely online. If you stick with one, what do you mean by they have no credence? So my University of Illinois Masters have no credence because I'm doing it online. Why una like sufferhead for that kontiri ![]() No worry by end of 2022 when I go for my graduation, you go still they here they doubt online degrees. 2 Likes 1 Share

Akerewe: Same here as i don't have a salary account. If you have mutual funds eg Money Market Fund, Fixed income Fund and Eurobond Fund with United Capital, you get 90% of your investment portfolio value as loans. The interest is 16%. If you have shares, bonds, dollar fund, Fixed income Fund, Money Market Fund with FSDH Capital and FSDH Asset Management your can get 50% of your investment portfolio value as loans. The interest is 22%. Can be negotiated lower if you are asking for N50 million and more If you have shares, bonds, mutual funds with Investment One, you can get loan from their subsidiary Orange One Finance at 26%. These loans have flexible repayment plans usually quarterly, semi annual, but maximum duration is 12 months. If you have Investments with Stanbic IBTC Asset Management, Stanbic IBTC Bank can give you overdraft facility that is up to 80% the value of your investment portfolio. The interest rate is 24% 10 Likes 2 Shares |

emmanuelewumi: Logistics business Dishonesty. Riders and sales agents trying to patch up figures just to get additional funds into their own pockets. Consulting business Yes Sir attitude instead of creative thinking. People calling me boss, Sir and waiting for instructions instead of being creative and thinking outside of the box. Gifting and packaging The university students that I recruited to help with hamper business couldn't learn how to wrap gifts and hampers on YouTube. Those are the 3 businesses I have had to pause for now. |

emmanuelewumi:Wow. Looking at the interest rate one may collect these loans, what possible ways can one flip profit since other investments one may go into are likely to return almost same % |
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by emmanuelewumi(m): 6:11am On Dec 26, 2021 |
kalu61: It depends on the velocity of the return. If you can do more than 15% in 6 months, you are good to go. Always better if you have steady cash flow that can liquidate the loan and not necessarily waiting for profit from a business or capital appreciation from some Investments. If you make the profit or capital appreciation, all well and good but that should not be the primary or sole means of paying back the loans 2 Likes |

Tobex4realTobex234: It is a fact, business is not for everyone. But we still have people who are making money from logistics business, consulting services, gift and packaging business. Very difficult to have a job and combine it with running a successful business, you have to choose the job or the business. You probability of doing both effectively is 5%. You are better off combining your job with real estate and other Investments or assets that can give you a passive income cash flow 4 Likes |

emmanuelewumi: Eg getting a loan of N5 million to buy some stocks eg Zenith Bank at N12, Dangote cement at N180, United Capital at N4 In June 2020 but you know that your dividends, coupons, rents and salary in the next 12 months can comfortably liquidate the loan. By June 2021, Zenith increased to N22 paid a dividend of N3.10 in 12 months at a dividend yield of 23% based on your purchase price and after giving room for withholding tax, United Capital appreciated to over N6 and paid a dividend of 70k at a dividend yield of about 16%. Dangote cement appreciated to N250 and paid a dividend of N16. The capital appreciation will make the loan repayment faster, but because the Investor has cash flow he can easily liquidate the loan if the capital appreciation did not happen as expected. 4 Likes
