It's time to pack off.
Seriously,these rates are quite discouraging....!!
My heavy funds are Maturing by july-upwards...
Is there any hope that the rates will mutate higher by then.?
I don't really like these Federal Government Bond....or MMF despite the higher rates......TREASURY BILLS pays interest upfront.

I used to pray for 100k. Now i got millions. Nothing is impossible

that is it my brother, I was doing with small money before buy today I can look back and thank God in this hard economy, I am proposing more than 1m so with focus, good strategies and right investment, the sky is the starting point. just got out of NSE to keep safe in tb as the election is approaching and tb can equally fetch me .5m so just be focus 10m is too small in what your tb investment will be. I was taking dividend of 2,000 and 1,500 b4 buy now net dividend of 460k. tb interest of 14k b4 but now about .5m so just be focus and b4 u know it u are there.

Banks are trying to take advantage of the slope of the rates to increase their placement. If you prefer that option you can check various banks, i heard skye is offering as high as 14-16% on 2-10 million. Please this is only for information purpose.

Bad news for myself and all other guys that requested TB purchase via Stanbic. Just heard from my contact with the bank, that the bank's bids for all the three available tenors failed. Back to the drawing table to start mapping out new strategies. Just wondering if there are any other options to explore apart from the secondary market?
Stanbic secondary market rates for today are equally depressing

168 days at 9.85% and 112 days at 10%

My account officer just called me that gtb lost their bid for 364 days. He offered me an option from the secondary market for 315 days at 10.5% which i took instantly. I just want that money to disappear

I heard that CBN indicated that there will be another bid next week (May 10th). The Q2 calendar did not have anytime scheduled until May 17th. Can anyone confirm that there will be an issuance next week and any additional details regarding that?
