We are a newly formed business software company targeting the African market. Our sister company is a well known business solutions software developing company based in Europe. The objective of the company is to establish itself in Nigeria and market this particular software, its modules and services (Business to business on the cloud computing) to the business community by setting up a sustainable marketing network of resellers.
Job Description: Business Development Executive
This position reports to the Managing Director.

Job Experience and Skills Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years experience in marketing of ERP and/or other business related software.
• Business development experience in securing software sales and cultivating alliances with customers and re-sellers.
• Business plan development and execution experience.
• Proficient understanding of ERP software versus company actual implementation practice.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, organizational, and written communication skills
• Must be a self-motivated and results-oriented person, able to work on his or her own.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications - MS Word, Excel – strong PowerPoint.

Key Responsibilities

Develop strong outreach to companies; generate qualified leads for sales of the software, and development of strong resellers. Develop a qualified sales team. Represent the company at trade fairs, conferences and shows.

Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan that includes email, web site, search engines and social media, sales visits, client demonstrations, tradeshows and more; manage the on-going competitive landscape, their marketing styles and know their products, and proactively recommend appropriate adjustments to plans.

Follow up product installation, training, customer feedback and all related activities that will ensure customer satisfaction.

Strong Relationship Skills: demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to initiate and maintain interaction with all re-seller partners; establish and maintain strong relationships, and leading regular status meetings; launch and coordinate all marketing efforts with re-sellers and maintain good contact with Mother Company in Europe.

Budgeting: manage and track marketing expenses for each partner program to ensure that we stay within budget.

Presentation Management: develop customized presentations based on customer categories and customize presentations to the potential customer’s level
