Jonathan Sat Next To Alamasiegha At PDP Rally by Piddo(m): 4:03pm On Mar 18, 2012
A picture surfaced recently in the Guardian where Jonathan sat next to Alam. Seems inconsequential but speaks volumes about our president and his anti corruption stance. Granted that Alams gave him his first break, he could show solidarity with Alam behind closed doors but definitely not in public view. Alams is a Convicted criminal and thief but the number 1 citizen sees no qualms in associating with him. Nigeria is a really sad story to behold and Jonahan is a sorry excuse for a President and C in C.

Actually he should. How I wish for laws similar to those in China, where thieves like him are shot.

True.
Only problem?
China is not Nigeria. Till then.
What do we do with politicians who are ex drug barons who escaped the EFCC?
What do we do political thugs who kill others to advance their political ambitions?
The list is long.

Till then, let us keep assisting Nigeria in celebrating criminals. . . .especially the 'BIG' ones! kiss

Alams na small boy-boy tief abeg!
Till the big tiefs are 'shot'. . . don't complain about the fall guys who have paid their dues.
Thank ya! EXPECIALLY SMALL SMALL THIEVES FROM THE SOUTH-SOUTH!

Think of those small small thieves as tiny little holes in a giant tank of water. Give it enough time and all the water will drain out. We can start by plugging those tiny little holes and the big ones whenever we find them.

Brilliant comparison. Blagojevich just reported to prison for the start of his 14 year sentence while Alams is back in the fold probably plotting for contracts and smarter ways to loot Bayelsa all over again.

I fail to see any thing wrong with GEJ mingling or sitting next to Alams at a PDP function. This is not GEJ inviting Alams to his home or birthday. This is a party/PDP function and I doubt GEJ has power over the sitting arrangement. And whatz up with Barack Blagojevich comparison? Two different issues. As far as Nigeria is concerned, Alams is not a criminal, he was never convicted in a Nigerian court. Whatever issue he has is between him and the UK. Blagojevich on the other hand was caught, tried, and prosecuted by his people and a guilty verdict rendered by a jury of his peers. Alams didn't have that luxury and as such it would be ridiculous for any one to label him a criminal with the intent to ostracize him from his political base.

You sound like you would also fault Ibori's conviction in the UK since he was discharged and acquitted in a Nigerian court. It is the likes of you that make it okay to be corrupt in Nigeria. Shame shame shame

You sound like you would have agreed with the international community that Nelson Mandela was a terrorist. It is the likes of you that would sell Nigeria to the lowest bidder all in an attempt to make your slave masters happy. Shame! Shame!! Shame!!!

What is the difference between a corrupt alams and a president that cant declare his assets ?
Re: Jonathan Sat Next To Alamasiegha At PDP Rally by madanne4real: 3:48pm On Mar 19, 2012
This maybe an old picture when Alams was the Governor of Bayelsa state and GEJ was his deputy. If you look closely, you will see that the ADC of GEJ is not sitting behind him as is the norm. We should not rush into conclusion yet.

Even Jesus Christ sat and eat with sinners. So, what's wrong with GEJ sitting with Alams?
Re: Jonathan Sat Next To Alamasiegha At PDP Rally by Abagworo(m): 4:27pm On Mar 19, 2012
Alamiesigha was just a victim of circumstances just like Ibori. They are not worse than others. Even if he is nothing is wrong with Jonathan sitting with him. He is not a ghost.
