Hi NLers,pls l need help from d gurus in this section,l've been driving a golf3 for abt 9mnths now bt like 3months ago,d moment l start d engine,it starts warming it self,d engine just roars out loud,calms down & up it goes again & it calms down & it keeps on like dt til i engage it in gear,sometymes even in motion,it does dt,my mechanic said its notin serious buh l'm not comfortable wt it,wat can l du? |

From your presenting complaints, I think the likely culprit is of one the 3 electrical switches on your carburetor. Try unplugging and plugging them back(with engine off). If problem persists,get an electrician check the switches. I currently use a golf 3. I have had similar issue once. It turned out a wire in one of the switches wasnt contacting. No big deal. I fix it ,myself. Cheers! |
