Even if its true (which I doubt) it doesn't necessarily mean that more people will get into the uni. Cos alot of people pass jamb each year without gaining admission. Your hope should be that you will make the required cut-off for your course and also pass the post jamb exams.

Very true though. People's inability to get into school isn't because they all failed JAMB and more so, should everyone meet the minimum which is never cast in stone, the cut off point would be raised. As each prospective students, I would suggest your hope should be at the end of it all when all aggregates would be put together to determine who gets admission, that you meet the required set minimum and you are gavored with the admission.
Unfortunately, such examinations cannot be used to determine performance any more as there are more students than schools can admit and many atimes, those given admission on merit is less than 50% of students admitted in most schools.

Salam alykum.The story is stil an inconcievable one because it is a rumour,then lets wait to heard the credible story regarding the result of this year UTME.frankly I must say this that,the story might be quite true because alot of students do indulged in examintion malpractices.And for this,there might be 80% passed.My word of advice to my co-prospective students is to employ the fear of Allah S.W.T(God) in all our endeavours.If this can be strickly adhere to then we can have our way to the success land.Im Musa Ibn Daud Qhalamulah by name.Masalam.

95% of jamb lessons now offer expo, biliv me, jst pay for d forms there, register your phone number and expect answers as text messages. And they're rejoicing. Little wonder our institutions are full of unserious kids.
