Is The Worst Democracy Better Than The Best Military Rule by gbadeboy2: 10:33am On Apr 01, 2012 |
I have observed that democracy tend to thrive in countries with common identity and and language like U.S,france,U,K,australia. Because of common identity of this countries, their electorates vote for the best candidate and if they do not perform, they criticise and call for their removal without sentiment. Countries like libya and iraq that have different tribe were stable under military rule because of their might. Now,under democratic rule, this countries are unstable due to mutual distrust amongst the tribes. So it would seem that the form of government that works for a particular place is dependent on the geographical make up of the region |

The best military regime is definitely superior to the worst democratic dispensation. For one, laws are passed faster through decrees and edicts unlike the slow and painfully expensive bills, acts, etc. Also, the cost of government is infinitely lower. Democracy is a tool of the west. A country that will prosper will prosper regardless of system of govt, case in point, china, old soviet union, etc. It is just easier for the west to manipulate democratic countries through the power (or rather inherent weakness) in "multiple individuality". US is scared of N.Korea, Iran, etc because they don't practice a democracy and thus, their leader can wake up one morning & mistakenly pour hot tea on his crotch and in anger send a nuke to destroy Illinois or Virginia. . Lol." |

@gbadeboy please go and do your reasearch properly. Please show me a good country where you would like to live and do business that is run by military? India - population 1.2billion, languages over 300, politics - multi party democracy(thousnds have died in election violence over the years), corruption rife. Pakistan pop. 180million, languages over 20, politics years of military coups and dictatorship, currently shaky democracy, corruption and terrorism rife. Which country better developed today |

I wont dispute the fact that every sane business man would want to do business in a steady environment where there is no sudden policy change, but the two case studies you described could at best be linked to religious ideology of the two countries.both countries posses nuclear technology and both have thriving economy. But while india is a liberal country, pakistan is a conservative country with lots of religious fanatics that resist new ideas and that I believe is cause of their instability as can be likened to our country |

if pdd is an example of democracy, then the best democracy is worse than military. if not for jerry rawlins in ghana, where will ghana still be till today? sometimes, deleting these criminals beasts at the head of the so-called democracy will bring light into the system. without the consent of the law |
