scoring 200 and above is not a guarantee; it would be like film trick when eventually yawa go begin gas. For that English department, over 240 scored above 216 for just 1st choice only and they need like 50 in the first instance then add maybe another 40 to make it 90 so the remaining 150 will have to try their luck elsewhere preferably in education which would take up just about half so 75 would still have to go buy Jamb form. This is just an analogy by the way using historical antecedents.

The university has announced that only those who scored 180 and above in both JAMB and post utme are eligible for consideration. Kathy give me your surname and i'd reconfirm your score and perhaps highlight your chances, you may send me an email or so.

Remove fear from urself,news came up they are adding ur jamb score and post ume score together and then divide by 2,if u score 180 for art u r lucky 200 for sciences depending on course,so just pray dat GOD will see u through ur admission..Amen

The number of students admitted varies from department to department and is actually set by the NUC depending on what they see during accreditation. Cannot say how many will be admitted in geology in the upcoming session. Merit admission should be concluded by next week and would be ready for the general public latest last week in July; could be earlier.

@rhyminclicks; stop spreading falsehood and saying hope when there is none, if you do not score 180 and above in the post utme then you are not qualified to be considered. Minimum 180 in both post utme and Jamb qualifies you to be considered but does not guarantee selection as preference would be giving to free high scoring candidates of similar and associated departments who so indicate.

@all, beware of people who say they can runs it for you with a post utme score below 180, it has a scientific probability of less than 1% and during registration after you may have paid school fees the admissions office will not register you and that will double loss of cash as UNIPORT may not refund you, in fact they will hand you over to the police who will collect their own from you.

There is no such thing as average score of post utme. You have your jamb score, then your post utme score. If each of them is above 180 then you add and divide by 2 to get a mean score. If neither of them is above 180, don't bother, start saving to buy Jamb form next year.

Another half truth from frank money, there are 3 criteria, merit, catchment and elds, the merit list would be ready latest upper week, it could be out as early as friday though.

Bros why would you choose UNIPORT as 2nd choice, nothing for you, the entire dentistry quota is about 20, which includes 5 from Basic studies so forget it. Better go and start lobbying and begging for departments in Agricultural Sciences.
