i heard rumours about FG plans to scrap batch B(july). does anyone hv any info on this?

it better not be true.if the timetable does not come out before the ending of this month,then the rumour could be true

The time table comes out by may not april. And the list too. My school have started sending names. By d way i've graduated last year

@ugowinn- yeah, d time table shuld be out by middle of may. but schl's cant send names b4 d time table cuz it specifies d date for recieving of list from institutions. btw i also graduated last year.

d scary fact is dat most PPA posts e.g teaching is being dominated by last year's batch C and dis year's batch A corpers and some hav'nt gotten their PPA till now!. so, i wonder where they plan to fix d awaitng batch B. God help us!

@biggyflame- tryin checkin their website if u can find any contact info or wait till middle of may for d timetable cuz its fully specified in the time-table(posted in the website).
@chokolee- its june/july cuz d nysc call-up list usually comes out in june while d camping commences in july.

I have the same question because I have to buy my ticket to Nigeria and I need to know when the deadline is. Also when does the thing start sef.

NYSC do post corpers to private school for their ppa without runzing it cos am posted to private school in Funtua,Katsina

I have heard that rumour but my course adviser dispelled it.

This new posting policy is not gonna work.

The govt establishments and schools are overcrowded and there is anarchy in the system.

The better reinstate postings to the private sector.

They govt wan introduce kataka now wen e don reach my turn.

During d batch A posting, i was posted 2 jigawa state but i bluntly refused to collect the callup letter, and applied 4 reposting because i cant stand life of perpetual hazard in the north. I cudnt risk it. So i will have to wait 4 batch B.

This tread came at the right time. I graduated from ESUT this year, now waiting for service. Pls nairalanders in the house, esp those that have gone for service... which of the south south state is best to serve in. I mean in terms of developing ones career, esp as i really want to be a full time computer programmer. Thanks.
