Holy murderers
Tears of blood from open eyed wounds
Handkerchiefs of cash compensations from those who rule
How long can we stay together? In this cheap face me and face you
Blood dripping curses on our land as tomorrow dies on the edges of holy swords
So what does the future holds?

Your dead conscience persecutes the innocent as you stir faith with filth
Ablutions with blood bath, what a making of your saint
Illiteracy strangles new born literates; ignorance mutilates the freshness of knowledge
Why won’t you perish; when you keep stabbing the heart of your nation?

The fruits of labor pains of Countless mothers
Are ruptured by our neighbors, “the holy murderers”
Pains in homes of broken hopes,
These paint the whole of the heart on which sorrow engraves.

It was not so clear to me at the start
Until I reminisce a thoughtful drama of what it takes to get here
Yes! I now see the slant of the handwriting of their death
After wearing an imaginative shoe of their ordeal

Sleepless nights of serving 6-3-3-4 master
They toil tirelessly and passed examinations with satisfactory scaled grades.
Happily, many celebrated the end of those days and looked forward to coming glories.
Unfortunately, in cementing the state they give up to early patronage of the cemetery.
Now, ceremonial khaki snatched the dreams of these ones by life rape

For all those lives of the future we lost in the making of today’s king
I pray they find comfort in the hands of the Almighty (Amen).

after reading dis poem, I coudn't help but cry.......thanks dear for taking time to craft dis beautiful tribute to d beautiful ones who went to soon to enrich d cemetry. Why.......? Atleast they would hav lived full to die empty..... But d BH's said no! But One Day... RIP HEROES n HEROINES; it ws in d place of service u lost ur lives!
