Zenith bank recently sack about 300 IT STAFF and that case is still in court. Today, they have sack many of their marketers, including branch head and some AGM AND GMs.

For real, Zenith bank laid off a whole lot of staff today nation wide. Had some friends who where affected, The banking industry is really volatile

So sad if this report is true. My advise is that people should have multiple
streams of income so that when one dries up, others will still be flowing in.

A branch head was paid off with #19million while an SEA who has spent more than 6 years in the bank was paid 900k. Zenith bank is a useless place to work. A lot of reshuffling and reassignments occurred without warning. 24 AGM and GM were sacked and in total 240 staff were affected. Most affected staff woke up to see an alertz message on their phones alerting them of their entitlements. More info to come.

I actually resigned from Zenith some 2 years ago to join FG. Wow! I can't believe an SEA was paid just 900K. That's an outrage! The BH that was paid 19mill was he an AGM or GM?

So so sad! the funny part is their severance allowee will hardly sustain most of them for the nxt 6months!

The truth be told. If an AGM is sacked, it doesn't call for any outrage. If I am an AGM in a bank for 3 or 4 years, I should be able to have saved nothing less than 50 million from salaries and allowances. This is more than enough to start a business and create jobs for our teeming jobless graduates. I know some people who have been AGM, GM and Executive directors for more than 5 years now. An AGM's package per annum is not less than 30Million, you can imagine what a GM takes home or a director.

if these people remain there, other junior staffs will not rise to the top. So to all the newly appointed AGM, GM, exec directors, take note, save money and start business and create jobs.

My Bro painful as it is, its not even your BH that I'm feeling for AT ALL. If your lifestyle is not wasteful 19milla will set you up wella. Its a cut your coat issue. Besides when I was in that bank, I used to say it, that AGMs and GMs should already know their time is near. Seriously where is the vacancy on top? Its the SEAs and EAs and ABOs, the korofos, that they now gave 900K (for an SEA) that I'm feeling for. Especially the married men among them.
