New information at the 2012 Direct Entry e-Registration Portal has it that Registration now ends on Tuesday, July 10, 2012.... This is good news for those who didnt register on time. I saw it coming... becoming JAMB's routine.

Please I want you all to email jamb and clamour for statistics of the Direct Entry applicants to various institution be released to us on their website just as it was with the UTME. It will feed our hunger, our waiting. There is strenght in numbers. de2012.info@jamb.gov.ng is the address.

in what way do u need help? I'll advise u to purchase another D.E form if u can't reprint, nd cant get d previous printout. Have u applied for ur transcript in sch? if u're indeed ready for D.E u just have to be fast about evrytin.

we are almost there...nd we will get to oau by God grace.Gradually,dey are rounding up dia exams.......i heard they av released d cut off 4 jambites.so admission wil start after d schl exam....God wil favor us. @ Olami you're right, a friend told me that admission will soon be on track, but wasn't so sure but i believe we shall get there. it seems admission will be earlier this year compared to the last. We can see through Opaque materials when we see them (Opaque) as been transparent! God help us.

d admission list was released earlier last year....at least b4 1st wik of october..b4 dey wrote dia 2nd semester exam sef...dia rsumptn was late coz of d ASUU strike....whereby dey concluded it within dt same strike b4 joinin ASUU....i bliv it wil b out by september nd we wil return Glory to d Almight God..Amen

After d jamb issue u will av to go down to IFE n fill d green form den der will b d best place u can get mor info since u r goin in tru BSc buh I sha knw its same means jst scroll tru our previous posts

Well apply for d transcrpt n it shld b send den tak d std copy down der, as for ur chances, hmmmm, 2nd class upper is a nice grade buh dnt knw hw d skul wil go abt it ds year, advise is dat u get down der go to ur TO BE dept after submission n discuss one on one wt d HOD, he knws hw admission goes in his dept, he wud ans all ur quest if he's nice sha n has time... Buh go down to IFE soonest cos d submission of d green form n oda credentials mite lapse soonest

Hahahahaha! Strike on what basis?Students are currently writing exam now!

Yeah there is a STRIKE but its non academic. NASU members at OAU
have begun an indefinite strike
over the alleged non-

U wud av applied to oda skuls like uniben dat accepts, cos OAU strictly considers der transcript, am nobody to start telling u ur hopes buh if der is d chance is alim

For D E addmission in OAU.
From experience because I got admitted as a D E student two years ago and I have been assisting people on various information needed to become a successful D E candidate of OAU.

1. Upper credit or Second Class upper Division in whatever field.

2. Make sure you collect and duly fill the 'White Form' paper formally 'Green Form' which is obtainable at the Principal Assistant Registrar Office 'New Senate Building' upon the tender of your D E acknowledge slip with O'level result(s) free of charge.

3. Process your original transcript, sealed and stamped by a recognized authority of your school and duly address to the Registrar, OAU, Ile-Ife. Osun.

4. Frequently check the Admission officer/clerk of your proposed faculty to confirm whether your forms have been collated and taking to the Faculty for admission processes. This is very important because some forms will be left behind without process as a result of incomplete, below required CGPA, inadequate O'level results or mistaken mixed up of files.

5. Once you've been assured and you check your 'white form' at the faculty towards the last 2months of 2nd semester. Relax and Pray to God for admission.

Note: 1. if you applied for social sciences and administration courses, its pertinent you look for a SPONSOR. A sponsor is a term used in D E admision proceedings determining the kind and level of someone sponsoring the D Entry admission for that particular candidates. E.g staffs: lecturers & Non academic staffs, student(to some extent) etc.
For other disciplines like sciences...D E admission is not that stressful because of the nature of the courses involved. For sciences, pls refer to JAMB brochure to ascertain if OAU accept admission to your preffered course.

2. Direct Entry admission into OAU is free of charge right from the processing stage to the admission stage. Don't give anybody your money. You will be admitted if you merit it. If you don't merit the admission, please don't bother applying because your form will not be process at the initial stage.

3. These are vital information, adhere strictly to it, you can get intouch with a friend on campus to help you in checking the level of your form application at the Senate building from time to time. This is very essential.

Transcript is not require at the point of collecting 'white form', you can start processing others while you transcript is not available but make sure it get to OAU either by post or you drop it to the secretary of the Registrar by hand in due course

***submission of transcript do not usually close early but its advisable you submit latest 2months before admission list which one more can ascertain but the Senate Council. For this year(2012)
, you're stil safe til early August.***
