i was just wondering arent there no car dealers that accept payment of a lumpsum for a car,den deliver the car and allow the buyer pay up in monthly installments? If there are any, please make your profiles available here...i'm sure there are many people here who can afford a car paying for it in installments.

Its not a bad idea, but cos of the type of system we have in nigeria, its almost impossible

1. There is no way of assuredly tracking down a 'stranger' that approaches a buyer for such, everything can be faked.

2. Its Human nature to naturally want to evade loan payment except there is something at stake like a collateral

3. What happens when the person defaults?

Its easier to do dis type of thingy with someone u know, etc

with that said I Know banex autos do such a thing, don't know if its still on sha.

Will be glad if we can get auto dealers to do this within secured circumstances

What kinda arrangement will have to be put in place in a nation where when someone run away, no way to find them, and that is the money thru the window . .
