I recently bought a Nigeria used registered vehicle. The previous owner handed me the vehicle documents e.g proof of ownership etc.and a transfer of ownership document. The plate number is the old one. How do I go about changing the documents to reflect my name? Do I get a new number plate? Or keep using the old one? Change only the proof of ownership? What do I do?...thanks

Go to your LGA compound and ask for the VIO office. They'll sort it out for you but no need to change the number plates unless you want to do the new ones.
