I have been suspecting that and now have the feeling that nepotism and favoritism is rife here on nairaland. They usually give the post to someone they know at the end of the day and only gives it to someone who indicated interest if someone they know did not indicate any interest. I remembered one of the earlier criteria for being a mod was that, you must be vetted by three to five popular members in that section or nairaland.

It happened in the education section as it was clear that they wanted to give it to someone that they know or someone recommended by the person they know. It was initially agreed to be two mods in the education section but they eventually settled for one and i see no reason why you can't have three to five mods in a section if people are showing much interest. I think i will stop or reduce my interest in that because they will never contact you or inform you that they have chosen someone instead and not you.

P:S My whole life is real, i say it the way it is and don't care about any consequences so anyone can send their usual threatening message or just ban me.

Shouldn't the mod name state HONERIC01 instead of HONERIC?

Based on the terms stated by the supermod,I see a lot of people here who have indicated interest and are more qualified in this regard than honeric01.
Let me assume the recruitment process is still ongoing.

There is nuttin to assume........mukina has just behaved like a typical naija person......419 is in the gene.

Like i have predicted they will choose someone who did not indicate his interest by making a post here like other members eventually. Always trying to put people they know there and overlooking competence which is the problem of Nigeria, you do not mix friendship with business.
