Position: Enrollment Advisor

Our client is the online and Nigerian based representative of a leading American university. It is also an international provider of higher education services. It is about to launch an online education programme across English speaking Africa. Our client is currently seeking energetic Enrollment Advisor who are motivated by achieving success and helping others in a consultative selling environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Enrollment Advisors advise, educate, consult and support qualified potential students in achieving their professional and personal goals by enrolling in higher education programs. Student leads are provided. They are monitored on things such as outbound calls, inbound calls, lead contact activity, completed applications, attitude, working relationships and communication

DUTIES:
Assess potential applicants and determine if they are qualified to apply and enroll in various degree programs.

Receive and follow-up on potential students via phone, email, fax, and direct mail student inquiries relating to obtaining advanced degrees.

Qualify and advise students for various academic programs.

Assist students with the enrollment process. Prepare and maintain sales progress, conversion and related reports on a weekly basis.

Build rapport and provide guidance for students interested in obtaining a master’s degree.

Consult with the Academic Offices to ensure an excellent student experience.

EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Minimum of 1-3 years of customer service, account management or relationship sales experience preferred.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access)

Working knowledge of new media marketing communication strategies.

Must be able to manage company social networks account for effective lead generation and customer service management e.g Facebook, tweeter etc

Must possess excellent telephone skills.

Ability to stay organized and work in a virtual and fast paced environment.
