odiaero: I told someone last two weeks when i was travelling after i landed in lagos airport waiting for my flight abroad that that Dana Air airplane is a timed bomb waiting to explode, reason is because it is so old and oudated, can u just imagine what just happened, God help Nigeria, that country is no more a country, it is a dead zone Odi, As for me, I am suspecting a foul play. |

Wow o! I use to ply that route man. Where is joshua in all this. Armagedom, some murderfuckers must have stolen the money main for servicing that aircraft and expect it to fly without wings and engines the nigerian way. 1 Like |

Where are the conspiracy theorists? GEJ and PDP are responsible for this... A plane has NEVER crashed in a densely populated area in Lagos... This is the first time something of this nature is happening... I had to check my archives.. |

bennyraz: My cousin entered dis dana air last month frm abuja to lagos and he complained bitterly. He said d lady dat sat next to him kept on pleading d blood of jesus all through and most passengers were praying all sort of prayers. He said he was fed up and he gave it up that he was going to die last month by plane crash. He said in mid air, d plane wud shake vigorously and attimes it wud look asceive it's going down and it will come up again.. He said it was always jerking.. Kai. RIP to the passengers on board amd God punish the airlines that risk our lives everyday.Amen, they know the planes are not sound but they were managing. Imagine if we could behave like the whites and those previous dana passengers had taken action, something like this may have been averted |

RIP to the passengers on board amd [s]God punish the airlines that risk our lives everyday.[/s] So sad!!! We don't value human life in this country, we make laws for our own safety yet because of corruption such laws are not enforced. Some of the planes flying in Nigeria are not fit for such purpose. We put some many stuffs in the hands of God, yet he does not exist. In one of my numerous trips to Enugu some years back (Enugu airport was closed for rehabilitation at the time) so I had to take a flight to Owerri. It was a terrible moment all of life. At a point, the plane was shaking and the tension in people eyes could be seen even with closed eyes. For once, I was confronted with death at a close range. Even at a point, the beautiful chick beside me that was proven difficult to get had to hold tighly and shout Jesus countless time. I was sweating seriously. Indeed, it can't just be a nice way to die. Now, we are here typing, discussing and invoking all manner of religious mantra that "God should save some of them". Well, I hope it does but unfortunately he does not exist. What can be of help is emergency response in reasonable time. Doctors not only at their desks but also on hand to respond to the critically injured and not doctors who are so happy to say sorry, but we are on strike. 1 Like |

CuteTj: 160 passengers = atleast 320 families = atleast 1600 friends thrown into mourning. This news is really disheartening. Oh my God! This is true. What a black sunday! May they R.I.P. Let us in our little ways forget the government today and pray for these ones and the loved ones they left behind. |

Based on grapevines, its obvious its a mechanical fault, many air planes are not fit to fly in Nigeria or anywhere in the world, but greed and selfishness from the management of the airlines and regulatory agencies would not allow them do things the right way, i wonder how that plane and many others that pass inspection.. I thought there was a clean up with that sector, but its apparent its just a farce.. Rest in peace to the deceased. 1 Like |
