It really saddens me that no form of consumer protection exists in this country.
I have witnessed countless shoddy practices by establishments to the customers' disadvantage and yet there is no refuge for the customer. It is an environment like this that promotes horrible service delivery and dangerous consequences for the consumer.
I was just online with a friend in the states and he was telling me how a Murano he bought new in 2004 just had its engine changed this week at the dealership FREE OF CHARGE because it was eating oil and was still under warranty.8 freakin years later!!
Upon reading that, I shed a tear for my country and signed out.
