Friends, i intend going in to the wholesale/distributorship of biscuit. I need advice from anybody that have idea about this biz.

I guess you are talking about locally produced biscuit right?

Well i know it's a good business, demand is high for biscuit especially among the kids.

However profit in the business is largely driven by volume because the margin per unit or per carton is very low.

That's more reason why people in this business must be properly located to drive volume.

secondly, you may need to add allied products to augment your profitability and ensure you have major brands in high demand in your stock.

Do your homework very well before you take the plunge.

How do u intend to source for it,from d company direct or from distributors.I am also intrested in d business but from my enquiries,u will ve upto 1m + before u can be a distributor,dats is direct from d company.unless u will be buying from distributors and reselling it.incase u ve anyother info,u can post it here for us to learn.

Hi,
Am also very intereeted in this biscuit distributorship business.
Still gathering info and making contacts.
Learnt will need about 2.5M or so. Product sources are Ibadan, Ondo and Lagos. Also, one will need to have a warehouse.
Am still researching.
