Bought Econet buddy pack for N28,000 in October 2002 and a black flip Ericsson phone for N38,000
Travelled to Delta spent three months,could not find any recharge seller so the line was blocked.
Both another SIM from Vmobile in 2003 and still use the SIM till date,also bought a NEC communicator phone ( first video camera phone sold in Naija) few months after.
Hmmm,I was a mini celebrity as I was admired and mobbed anywhere I go with the long NEC phone.

my first phone is an ericcsson with a very long antenna. has a blue screen light with a game i loved so much. my first sim card was bought by my day at N17000 and that's vmobile. come to think of it...Vmobile had great tarrifs back then and the network was fun but after series of buying and selling, the network derailed by 85%.

My 1st phone is a Nokia 3310 which my Mum bought 4m dubia in d year 2002 & my Mtn sim card was 13,500 naira.
I still dey use d sim till date.

I bought my first phone and sim for N45,750 in 2002. I cant bring it out in office because my manager and director don't have any.

Only one of my colleague, I took out to partake in the computer training i organised for accountants who was having it - our salary then was peanut, and we have to wait for 39 to 45days b4 our salaries could be paid.

Gone are those days.

When you have t6 feed MTN every 15-30days and Econet. The least card then was econet 500 and MTN was 1,500.

First fone was nokia 3310 and my sim was bought for 30k.Dat's my number till date.

My 1st phone was Nokia 3310, can't remember d cost but i got my Mtn sim for 11,999naira in january 4th 2004. I could remember there was a very long queue then @ festac mtn friendship centre. It wasn't funny dat day coz pple were fallin over each oda n scrambling 4 it. n we had 2 spend d whole day there.

I bought econet sim card for 18,000 and samsung phone for 30,000 in sept 2001.

Lolz...I bought my first line, an mtn in 2002 for 11,500naira, & a second hand motorola phone that was as long as a high-tension pole, with a very tall antena...lol...I bought the motorola for 10,500naira, & the ringing tone was more than scary!

I was one of the few that got the 'BOGOFF' sales I.e 'buy one get one free'. I bought the Nokia 3310 for N42.000 with sim and got Alcatel free with sim(two sims and two phones)
I then sold the free sim to a friend for N18.000 Cash same day.Check out my no. 08033080...

I bought phone, samsung r220, for 22k and MTN sim for 13k5. Men, per minute billing was too harsh. I could remember calling somebody, it entered voice mail and my N50 gone.

bought my fone-sagem my x-1 for #17k and my Mtn sim #12k. I'm still using d line til now,infact, i dont joke wit it at all,and funny enough too, my sagem is still wit me, only dt i dont use it again. But then, mtn nearly kill us dt time, no flashiing, except u're ready to lose #50 for 1 or 2 secs, moreso , u pay 4 callng custormer care each time u have complaint or better still, keep ur complaint to urself, but now, thank God 4 competitn, its all story now.

Glo talk now for credit and pay 1500 every month. the total was 7500 naira with motorola T192 for 12k. No be small thing

Got my 1st phone and line 10K from glo head office in Dec 2003. It was promo pack and I paid I think 1,333 monthly for about a year till glo cleared my debt.the phne was a alcatel.

THANKS TO glo ,i bought my phone #8000 fairly used slim bird.my girl friend then bought glo sim for me #2000.

It is amazing how 10 years + can make a whole lot of difference . and seem like a century.

I hope we have a power sector revolution soon in Nigeria, the effect will be stronger than the GSM revolution.

I have great belief in the country, the things that will turn around the fortunes of the country for good are not far fetched or rocket science thingy.

I remember how guys used to flock around me then because i was the first person to use a phone in our floor on campus. Ol boy, that Erickson suffer no be small! Imagine 20 rooms with atleast 6 guys in each each room come dey take your phone answer call.
Anyway, i bought my first line N22k, cant remember the phone price. I nearly cried when i learnt SIM was sold at 2k.

I bought my Glo line ETBANK @d cost of 2500/1500 cnt remember n my mum bought my first nokia torch (1100 I think 4 N7000 that was when I entered UNiversity 2005 feb. Later change to MTN cos GLO service is not every where in our campus.I rem by first 5recharge wit glo jst cleared all d credit in d fone.

Mine was in December 2001 with Trium mars, nice phone with cool games.

Bought my sim which i still use till date for 9,999 during the first econet promo. Arrived at Toyin Street about 6.30am and the office opened by 7. The queue was crazy.

I bought my first phone about 4 weeks and did not have money for sim card. I bought this sagem 969 for about 6500 cant really remember but I was 'posing' around with the phone for almost one month because i did not have the funds to buy my sim card!!!

It was in June'03 i bought a motorola T190 or so i think for around 11k and bought my Econet buddy sim at cash n carry ikeja cos i wanted to be sure then as there was scarcity for 8k.

Actually bought Econet then cos MTN sim cost then was so crazy.

Two years later when my cousing got a phone she will tell me to drop her phone anytime I caryy it, that she is expecting a call, as if holding the phone will not allow the call to enter......lop
