[quote author=HolySteph post=88429961]Mamas in the house. Good morning.. I'm back again o!

my baby had this a while ago,and was told to bath her with one leaf like that, but didn't see it.so I took her to the hospital, and the doctor said I should put a lil savlon in water and bathe her.Though, some may require antibiotics.I was also told not to use powder, wash clothes very well and iron, anyone who wants to carry her should wash their hands or use sanitizer.

He has an eye infection, possibly bacterial. He would need eye drops. You can use a damp cloth to clean the crust and wash your hands afterwards.

Hi mamas, im a very worried mom. My 2 year old started stuttering all of a sudden, and it seems to get worse each day. It started last week and now, he has to close his eyes stiff his head and some body parts to pronounce words he pronounced well in the past. Im so worried because i cant seem to figure out the cause. Nobody stutters in both families ie mine and his dad's so its not like its hereditary pro something.
I have goggled a few stuff about but i need mamas with real life experience to help me with this. How long will i have endure this? Will he ever go back to talking normally? Is it some sort of sickness or lack of vitamins? So many questions to ask... I cant seem to wrap my head around this.
Don't know how he'll cope in school after this corona ish stops and they resume because he wasn't like that before the compulsory break. I dont want him to grow up feeling inferior.
Medical mama, experienced mamas, mamas that have heard stories or know someone that has gone through this before please help me.

Search and probe by any means to see that he hasn’t suffered any abuse/trauma recently . Someone may have smacked him or bullied him etc etc

When he starts to stutter, calm him down and help with pronouncing the words gently

Commit some time to pray about the situation.

As soon as you can see a therapist or specialists in that field.

3 year old? Boarding house? Why?

Don't have kids for the sake of it.

But you don’t have the full details of the circumstances of the child!

It’s easier to sit on the sidelines and cast aspersions! A boarding school may be the best option for this toddler at this time or period.

Let’s be sensitive to one another please!

It’s most likely an allergy and you will need to eliminate all possible triggers- a dusty duvet, carpet or rug in the sleeping areas, dusty fan, poor ventilation etc etc

You will also need a dr to place him on antihistamines and an eye drop!

Ok. Thanks. From my findings varicella /chicken pox is scarce and expensive. Will give the important ones first based on availability of finance.

Was advised not to skip

Ok, please do. 3months is a long time, don't allow it degenerate into something else.

My son had same some months ago, eye drop cleared it in a matter of days. My daughter just finished her own yesterday.

LOL. It's the shinning part that attracts them not the dark fan.
That was the first thing my first child got attracted to before even looking at his mother.

Good day sabi mama's pls am a first time mom and my baby is a month now but he doesn't sleep in the afternoon all he do is cry cry and when he finally sleeps it's not always more than one hour before he wakes again.i will have to pet again for hours before he sleeps again.i got tired of the whole that why I bring the matter here.Abeg sabi mama make una no waka pass edakun
My baby slept a lot when she was a newborn unlike my first that was always crying and I never knew how to console her. What I know I did differently with her was
1. to make sure she burps after every feed. watch YouTube videos on how to burp a baby. Sometimes they doze off while you are trying to make them burp. Continue until you get a burp. Sometimes it can take 15 mins but the more you practice the better you get at it.
2.dress her up in weather appropriate clothes. With my first, she was always wearing like 2 layers of clothing whether its hot or cold. With this baby, sometimes she slept in just diapers. Yes, Lokoja can be that hot. Pls note if you dress baby in light clothes, you have to closely monitor changes in weather to know when to cover him up more.
3. When bathing her, I pour not too hot water on her anus. Its makes her poop at least everyday. Unlike my first that will not poop for almost one week and her tummy will be making rumbling noises, her fart smells so bad and she will be so uncomfortable. Then any day she poops she will sleep well.
4. Make sure you drink lots of water so baby gets enough milk. Sleep is easier with a full tummy.
All the best mama.
