Please i beg this is my second post can someone who has dealt with the Italian embassy recently please tell me how long it takes to get a visa  they say 25days to 40 days max is this true ? A family member applied today is day 31 no update nothing .is there anyway to find out pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! |

Why don't you call or mail them? If that doesn't work. Then, visit their embassy. |

My wife applied for Italian visa over a month ago but not yet out, she got reliable info from VFS staff that there are alot of outstanding applications that are not yet treated. just be patient! |

Thank you all of you who replied. I never knew Italian embassy was that messed up. I just believed whatever rubbish they write on there website. 3 months to get a visa is just crazy. I leave in some days, I guess my family member might not be joing me which is sad. I have called the vsf they say call again tommorow I have sent emails no reply . I just don't know what else to do at this point. |
