Looks clean but get a closer look. Go for a test drive, go with a BMW technician that has BMW scanner that can scan deeply and not a generic scanner. Could get you a technicians number of you want. Get the service history, what oil is used, ask for transmission service history as well. Check for oil sludge, coolant presence and thermostat.
Take note of all lights on the dashboard, watch out for the fuel pumps performance as well. Do check for leaks as well on the roof, foot wells, trunk etc

There's nothing like 'nothing to fix' in any car o, even tokunbo needs some fix
exactly, thanks alot. Please Pm me the Technician's number.

What kind of scanner was used? You need a BMW scanner for deep scanning and one that could be used to relearn. The car might need relearning after parts change. Secondly, how did you confirm the replaced part works?

What codes did it popped up?
Are you sure you installed the cam sensor correctly and the sensors work as should?
Also, did you perform adaptations on the car after the installation?

your E46 camshaft position sensor (CPS) won't reduce your car performance if its faulty your car will cut off and won't start until few hours and won't start at when it's dead completely.I have 1st hand experience with this and it hides in the most ridiculous places on the Engine block.I think you should look for a BMW specialist with a BMW dealer-level tool to scan your car. However, if I need the CPS, you will need a genuine one to replace it.I bought o be from Ebay £25 did not work, I had to order mine from BMW at £65 then to get it fixed.

It was reprogrammed after is was changed and only the EML light comes on intermittently now and car still do not exceed 20mph. Now my mechanic is saying it's the thurtle actuator that is faulty,

he could be right with the above as I had that problem too with my Range and once I changed it and had it re programmed it was OK, however, if the T actuator was the problem it will say on the Scan, so do a scan 1st to avoid throwing parts at the car for nothing!
PS,The CPS do not get programmed or reprogrammed, that's a scam, its a plug-and-play sensor, its basically an electromagnet that counts the rotation of the gears or teeth on the sprocket of the cam and sends the sum to the ECU. over time this magnet weakens and that's when it fails.

My People am back again. Help me;

After changing the turtle Atuator the EML light gone and my car still do not accelerate above 30mph.

The car was scanned with lunch device and no code came up.

The car starts at one kick and idles very well. It also drives fine if you do not go above 20mph

Am suspecting the ECU is bad.

Please house, I have been trying to resolve an issue my e46 323i develop.

The car vibrate from the front passenger seat through to the dashboard.

1. I have checked the propeller rubbers; the center casing and the one with the gear box, okay.

2. Lower arms okay.

I need suggestions on possible solution.
Re: BMW Owners' Forum by joeabidaku(m): 4:56pm On May 17, 2021
Check your absorbers, as that would also cause vibrations

It's a nice car you've got over 300 Hp on tap.. just do the regular maintenance it will serve you well.. The BMW experts in the house should shed more light

The BMW is the better car. Better build quality, better driving dynamics, better interior. But you'd have less headaches with the Q50.
