Check your oil cap for your oil specification.

Better go with the Synthetic blend.

Civics are very good cars.. They will not tolerate any form of abuse at all .. I have 03 to 05 Civics on uber .. 06 upwards are good for personal use. From experience take care of that car from the start. Make you use good oil and coolant.. You might spent a lot now, but at the long run your pockets will thank you for it .

Good evening

Please i want to change complete dasboard for my Honda Civic 2006. But i found that there are two types.

I like the first one but my car came with the second type. If i decide to buy the first type, will there be any negative effect?

The major difference is only in the area of stereo and AC controls

I definitely will keep you updated on this one but however, how many miles do you cover on the Ultra Fram synthetic Filter?

On the Ultra fram, it says it is good for 15k miles oil change But personally I will change it 10k miles.. That is me personally, others might change at 7k miles...

I am not considering 15,000 before oil change but rather 10,000 Max. If it were to be a Mercedes, then i will do 13,000 using the Extended performance Oil with a premium filter that can as well comfortably serve that long.

Even though Fram recommends 7,500 in mild conditions as i was made to understand, but hypothetically It can do 10,000. So doing an Oil change at 7500 to me is a waste of that expensive Oil.

If my Benz E350 lands, it will be 13,000 or nothing. Benz recommends 13,000 miles or 1 year depending on whichever comes 1st.

I agree for sure that 7k miles oil change is waste of money.. But me personally across all boarders ,due to Nigerian dusty road etc, 10k miles is the best.. That is what I will do personally.. Let me know when your E350 lands ... my C240 should land too ..

I'm at the mechanic now. He's changing the ball joints of the Nigerian used Baby Boy I bought in July. But what surprises me is that each leg has 2 ball joints... One up, one on the wheel. Making 4 ball joints sad

Yes it may likely be the fuel pump. Hope you used OEM plugs. Other factors may also be dirty throttle body (most mechanics call these injector ...) Also clean or replace the idle air control valve and nozzles. However these other factors makes a car stalls when in idling speed.
