Evening guys, my EOD 2004 steering is stiff and noticed a whirring noise 4rm the pump , i decided to perform a steering fluid flush, which i have and also changed the o-ring at the pump inlet hose.

The noise has stopped because i also bled it via the help of YouTube video, but still the steering is hard, especially when i m on low speed or nearing a stop sometimes it frees up and sometimes it gets stiff. I also noticed leakages beneath the pump area, i have loosed out the pump, i want to know if the leakage is stopped will the steering wheel become easier to steer or do i have to replace the pump entirely to solve the problem?

Hello house, I drive a 2004 Honda Accord V6 commonly known as EOD for a while I’ve been having problems with my car’s timing my mechanic said I should change the adjuster I’ve bought a new adjuster but the thing is the bolt breaks and the car jumps timing and won’t start I would like to know the remedy, would it be to thread it to a bigger size bolt it uses 10 I’m thinking taking it to 12 or 14 because my mechanic says I should give him 25k to buy a new copper plate that’s what he says it’s called I want to seek the opinion of Honda experts here on what to do? Do they sell the plate? Because it is fused to the engine of the car and I don’t see how they can replace it. Thanks

Are u sure u r using the right timing belt? If u use a smaller belt the tension will be too much

I can't say much about sensor but I know that Holt atf is bad news. When I used baby boy, I was changing the gear oil with Oando dex III and there was no gear issues for 6 years till I sold it. I suggest you see another mech and ensure you remove that oil.

And that Holt atf is wat a so called honda gear specialist used to change my gear oil. He said its the best

Help please, i just service 07 honda accord 4plugs this monday, the car is jerking and vibrating (shaking) on D but smooth on reverse gear once i on ac, the vibration will be much worse, what can i do or replace to fix this, it wasnt like this before, i have changed one right side engine seat

Check the car rpm. If its low (below 800 - 1000) then it's possible ur idler is bad, its a sensor on ur throttle body, once u change it, ur car go dey run smoothly

Hello all, please what's your take on engine flush? My car engine has sludge, the oil gets dark after few weeks of oil change. My mechanic suggested pouring engine flush into the engine a day before oil change. I intend changing the oil this Friday.

I need help here guys. Advice me please. Thanks in anticipation.

Started my Honda civic 2007 to drive to work this morning and it refused to accelerate. The check engine light comes on when i start the car and starts blinking after like 2 minutes.

The car moved fine yesterday from ikorodu to ikeja and then to ojodu. What could be problem please?

Check the level of gear fluid and the color.

Check the level of gear fluid and the color.

The colour is somewhat dark brown and its halfway the dip stick.

I had plans to change the gear fluid before the lockdown. I hope there is not damage to my engine or gear box yet?

My Honda element is experiencing this too. My rpm is at 1000 most times when idle, it doesn't fall below 900.

If the car rpm is not rising above a particular when revved on park, engine. If gear does not select on acceleration, gear.
Your D blinking shows gear has an issue, start with replacing burnt fluid.
The sluggish movement may range from spark plugs, coil, nozzles or pump.
Do a scan

Car is working fine now. Had to change one of the coils.

Is it advisable I drain and refill with Oando ATF pending when I can get Honda DW1 in like 2 or 3 weeks?

There's nothin like V4 it's I4... When I has such experience it was because the bearings of the inner shaft spider are broken. Then when the two front wheels were off the ground and allowed to spin freely while the vehicle gear was engaged the left wheel was not spinning but seems to be hooked. After all that was corrected my vehicle became normal.
