@OP,
Are these certification agencies available in every state of the federation or just in Lagos alone?
Secondly, can I export from any of the five international airports in Nigeria?
What happens if I can easily source ''exportable'' products but live in a state that has no local airport/int'l airport?
Lastly, can you clarify this offer letter thing?

boluwajokosegun: I have learnt alot from this trend, many of the builders or contractor tell lies & cheat
With 750k one can build a one bedroom flat.
Under 30 days one can build a one bedroom flat.
There is a curent trend in ph now land lord build 5 flats of one bedroom on a plot of land & let it out for just a year after which they start to sell each one bedroom flat to different people.
so what stop five friends from using synegy to buy a plot & build 5 flats of one bedroom on a plot of land .

I want to say kudos to the initiator of the trend & to all those who took their time to read & asks questions, u are all great.
Making alot of sense.
Can you or any builder in the house give us a floor plan of this one bedroom flat?

bashorundon: Wow! Please, would you advise i open a dispute already? The seller told me he shipped with the fastest SwissPost platform. Judging from what you said, i dont think I can exercise that form of patience. Please advise. I hate dishonesty. The guy was dishonest with me. :-(
Not so fast guy. You chose free shipping in the first instance and so you have to wait a little longer. I will also advise that you start tracking your goods only after 25days when using swiss post to avoid High Blood Pressure.

chemashie: You people should stay away from this decoder so as not to incur the wrath of Multichoice/DSTV. Is not what you can invest your hard earned money on. Besides, the stuff is not reliable as it goes on and off anytime. I got a sample from alibaba but couldn't enjoy it the way I want.
Stay away from it.
Wrath of multichoice? Bros, that is for the city dwellers nah and not for those of us in the village.
I dey enjoy my Q-Sat kia kia without any break in transmisson.

Canme4u: I didn't link him to my FB wall, infact where he wrote on was not even my wall, its our company's facebook fans page where I happen to be one of admin.

You can't expect me to be writing Diesi tv stuffs in open forum like NL.

The guy should talk to be seller he bought it from, he/she will send him the doc. needs to make it work.

Or, he should probably check the settings...he should set the time and date...then, go to where there is something like ETHERNET, ok it, then go to GPRS, select the country and the Network providers list in the selected country will pop up. Just chose the one you inserted on it. And press the blue botten to connect it. When its connected, just exit. And wait for some sec. Then click on any channel.

I hope this will help you a little.

Please dnt mind my grammer oooo, I've never for once attend School Olowo(private school)

Cyprian213: Hi NLanders, i 've bought a Q116 decoder from china which uses sim card and the decoder does not require subscription. It is working fine except that the DSTV stations i searched out are not show with the glo sim card i inserted. what do i do to make it work?
Just search around your area for dealers of satelite decoders or installers, tell them you have Q-Sat but your DSTv channels are not showing image.
Just shell out extra 2K naria and your problem is solved.
There are other ways of going about it but the above is the ''quickest''.
Goodluck.

jposuagwu: My brother,

You are one of the people I have great respect for both here and on SMN. But am surprised the way you have been very bullish on Oando completing the COP deal Nov 30 without caution. I spoke with a Management staff of Oando (one of the few who are in the know about the COP deal) - even though he was non committal in his response (primarily because of he feared Toronto Stock Exchange may charge the coy for insider trading, he was not as bullish as you sound here about Nov 30 deadline. He was only bullish the deal will be concluded but not bullish about Nov 30. I understand Oando still has a window to extend the date of closure of the deal.

InvestmentRe: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by 9free(m): 3:08pm On Nov 27, 2013
Elai147: Bros I do not invest in 364 days bills as I may regularly need to move funds from Tbills to stock market and vice versa. Besides, if inflation moves higher than or closer to the return on your investment and remain sustained, it lowers the value of your investments.

As for 2015, there is a general believe that presidential election, in particular, has a way of affecting money market and stock market. But what I do is to make sure I invest the safe- diversifying (estate, money market, stock market, etc) and also keeping an eye on political headlines because I no fit shout. I think this method will work no matter who wins the election. The only thing I fear is the presumption by some people that the country may split come 2015. I wonder what effect this will have on investments.
My Oga, I have been pondering on this for quite some time. I pray it does not happen but be that as it may I have decided that from March 2014 I start converting 70% of my Assets to cash(Dollars not Naira) just in case. I had also wanted to diversify into some Real Estate(Flipping of Land) but the thought and fear of the bolded scared the hell out of me.

ProgrammingRe: for beginner C++ Programmers by 9free(m): 5:04am On Nov 27, 2013
Olyboy16: well...C works well on embedded systems and control engines..bt C is mostly recomended over c ignoring the fact that most modern and latest systems today(servers, OS, control interfaces) are programmed using c . I read through an online article some months ago on the use of c to create control interfaces for networks of security systems among servers, buildings e.t.c..

There ar also fine refinements of c/c worth mentioning when it comes to embedded systems..MISRA C/C ..is a good one, the good part is, their standards clips with ANSI.

http://www.embedded.com/design/safety-and-security/4413297/Build-secure-and-reliable-embedded-systems-with-MISRA-C-C-

and also, depending on how low-leveled your control interface requirement is, c should handle things just fine...c is used mostly in automated vehicle programming...
Good to know.
For now I will just stick to C for my projects on embedded systems as I want to be as close as posible to the machine code. It will really make things easy for me expecially during debugging.
From your writeup you sound knowledgeable and experienced in this area. Have you worked on any embedded system platform: PIC Microcontrollers, ATmel AVR, 8051, 8085, or Aduino?
I will also look at the MISRA C/C++. Thanks for the link.
ProgrammingRe: for beginner C++ Programmers by 9free(m): 6:52pm On Nov 26, 2013
Olyboy16: true talk!! But most people prefer c++, quicker and improved++ i do too
Yea, C++ is an improved version of C but I am yet read anywhere it was recommended for Control Engineering program development.
Have you seen any?.
ProgrammingRe: for beginner C++ Programmers by 9free(m): 6:11pm On Nov 26, 2013
Olyboy16: wich 1 is ANSI c again, pple just lov confusin demselves
Bros, ANSI C is the standard C language. You may want to read from google....
Am interested in it cos I want to concentrate on microprocessor, microcontroller and industrial automation programming. From what I have read so far, it is the only high level language closet to Assembly/machine language which can be used to archieved that aim.

Audacius: The factors that keep the stock market alive are at it again. Fear/Greed. Interestingly, they are justified. They are "virtues" you must have. The "foolish buyers" of Transcorp and Oando now might start declaring "Mama Ejiro" later and the cautious ones go green with jealousy. If the table turns, the Nostradamuses will stomp around happily chanting "I said it. I warned you all. Thank God I exited the bus". Just be a CEO of your portfolio and be responsible for your decision so that you don't oscillate between happiness and sadness like a fan. May God bless this group - enrichingly entertaining.
Oga Oracle, welcome on board.
By their post you know them...

Didnt Buy Transcorp though, I learnt my lesson from ABC transport that I tried to chase and I'm sitting on an almost 20% loss for that.
I don't buy stocks that I can not hold for a minimum period of Five Years.......
