If the report from thisday news is true...... then it is evidently clear that some elements in this country are working round the clock to draw the attention of this zoological Govt to arrest this man. Many are wondering why he has not been arrested with all the arm deal scandal rocking the department he once headed. 49 Likes 2 Shares |

This op must be out of his/mind. This protest was about election being held in Biafra land as the protesters claimed that Nigeria election shouldn't be held in Biafra territories. From the look of things this op must be an APC member, people known for falsehood and propaganda. 9ja_i_hail. |
Politics / Re: Jonathan Will Win, APC Is A Fragile Anti-Jonathan Setup —Brookings by 9jaIhail(m): 4:30pm On Jan 20, 2015 |
Splashme: Describes APC as a fragile anti-Jonathan setup BROOKINGS, the world’s most influential think-tank based in the United States, have projected President Goodluck Jonathan’s victory over the opposition candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari, in the February presidential election, which it suggests would be keenly contested. The analysis, context and rationale of the think-tank’s projections were contained in the Brookings publication entitled: Foresight Africa – Top Priorities for the continent (January 2015). “Though the election is expected to be very competitive, the odds still favour President Jonathan.” According to Brookings, the All Progressives Congress (APC) is a fragile anti-Jonathan establishment with a sole purpose to return power to the north. “The party is, however, a fragile one that seems united only in its quest to wrest the presidency from Jonathan or to have power “returned” to the north.” “The APC gets much of its strength from tapping into anti-Jonathan sentiments in the Muslim north and grievances among the Yoruba who feel that the Jonathan administration has ignored them in key political appointments.” The report also indicated that “the APC’s strategy is hinged on a combination of popular votes from the North-West, North-East and “the battleground South-West” but also hinted at the possibility of Bola Ahmed Tinubu not delivering the region contrary to speculations. “What remains to be seen, however, is whether Bola Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos State who played a pivotal role in the formation of the APC and is considered to be the party’s strongest mobiliser in the South-West, will be very enthusiastic in delivering the battleground South-West to the APC during the elections.” “Tinubu indicated his interest in being the party’s vice presidential candidate but being a Muslim like Buhari, the party’s strategists felt that a Muslim-Muslim ticket might offend Christians and cement the PDP’s labelling of the APC as an Islamic party.” On President Jonathan’s performance: “despite Boko Haram, the country is thriving: The economy continues to grow and with the re-basing of its GDP, became the largest economy in Africa and the 26th largest in the world. Jonathan’s supporters also point to his success in containing the Ebola virus, which earned him commendations from countries and institutions around the world.” The Brookings report also identified factors such as incumbency and numerical control of states where PDP has 21 states and APC only 14 as giving PDP an edge. “The greatest strength of the ruling PDP is its “power of incumbency,” and all the institutional support that goes with it. Not only does it have federal resources to use as patronage, it also controls key institutions.” The report advised that all efforts should be deployed to ensure a free, fair and transparent elections and to avoid a meltdown as post-election violence seems very likely. “Post-election violence is therefore likely in the north if the APC loses while renewed militancy in the restive Niger Delta is likely if Jonathan does,” the report noted. http://www.tribune.com.ng/news/news-headlines/item/27083-apc-is-a-fragile-anti-jonathan-setup-brookings The bolded part in red color has been my disagreement over this sudden clamor for change masterminded by yorubas . Our lagos bred igbos who think they are fighting for change need to read the bolded red part in this article and redirect their steps. Yorubas are using you lot to reclaim their lost destiny in Nigeria polity. When they succeeded through your help, they will be first to call you fourth class citizen this time no more third class. Politics / Re: Why Did Buhari Arrest Ojukwu? by 9jaIhail(m): 10:28am On Jan 10, 2015 |
Adminisher: I wasted my time reading all the junk you put above without figuring out a single answer to the question the OP of this thread seek for. In case you did not understand the question, can i write it in a capital letter? WHAT WAS OJUKWU SIN THAT WARRANTED GMB TO THROWN HIM INTO JAIL FOR TEN (10) GOOD MONTHS MAN. Ojukwu wasn't part of the Government like you said, nor was there any investigation or evidence that proved he was corrupt before he was bundled and thrown into jail for ten (10) good months. Nearly a year without a crime. Like i have said and will continue saying, the only igbos that supports GMB presidential campaign are either for selfish interest or party affiliation. No right thinking igbo person will chose blood thirty jihadist like GMB over a clueless GEJ. 13 Likes 4 Shares |

shachris03: Bro, i think it's easy for you to read but hard for you to comprehend. In no time did i mention in my post that GEJ will handover to igbos, i only corrected your wild chase imagination that Igbos will be handed over APC presidential flag bearer after Buhari. And i reminded you that GEJ has only 4yrs tenure to serve and GMB will had to go 8yrs. And igbo stand a chance to occupy either Presidency or VP after GEJ. 1 Like |

Adminisher: And you think igbo an igbo person stand a chance to be elected president in the next 8yrs if APC win? This is where most of you lacked rational and comprehensive thinking.. Igbo does not have much stake in APC. There will never be a time APC will present an igbo man as their presidential flag bearer after buhari that is if he buhari win. After GMB yorubas will surely take it up from the North and if you are a good mathematician you will know how many years it will take for an igbo man to be presented by APC as their flag bearer. But i am not here to assure you that PDP will offer the chance to eastern Nigeria after GEJ rather i want you to remember that GEJ has only 4 yrs tenure to serve and he will hand over. I am sure of an igbo person becoming president or VP after GEJ. Igbo chances as it stands right now is more promising under PDP than APC. |

shachris03: Is this the first time this your GMB is coming to lead Nigeria? See, like i said earlier. I was enjoying your writeup until i detected Buharism in it. You lot should just stop acting like this Buhari is just coming for the first time to lead Nigeria. He still remained the old chameleon you and i used to know. Eziachi: Pa Eziachi, lately i observed that you have changed from being whom you are to someone else. However, i still hold you with the highest respect as one reasonable elder. But if i must say the truth, you are becoming bias lately. You can be pro APC or you may have special connection with GMB it's just your personal thing and i have no right to question. But that shouldn't be a reason for someone like you to deny the fact that we igbos are not better served under a clueless GEJ than your almighty GMB. Asking me about Ihejirika and Barth Nnaji. Both men served under GEJ and came out with their heads high. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

shachris03: I was reading and was enjoying your writeup until i detected Buharism in you. Listen young man/woman, I am not an Aba brought up but as a confirm nwa afo, every little investment i own today are in aba and owerri. We all feels the pains but do not blame GEJ for the bad leadership in abia because we have a Governor who have served nearly 8yrs in office without achieving anything. It doesn't make sense when you allow your frustration to blind your sense of reasoning. A sensible igbo person will never prefer GMB ahead of GEJ. Igbo people that are supporting GMB are either for their personal gain or party interest. Inasmuch as GEJ failed igbos and other Nigerians in so many areas, i can assure you that igbo interest cannot be better serve under GMB than GEJ. Can we be reasonable enough and not use our hands and fetch an infested fire wood and you know what the consequences will be. How do we forgot things so easily. Sometimes i feel like to ask, are igbos the most silly and confused creature in the whole universe. How suddenly did we forget our past experiences? How we have been treated by the past presidents and military head of states in Nigeria GMB inclusive until GEJ came on board. Even here in NL, you as an igbo person hardly exchange argument with other tribes without the person calling you a third class citizen. Today, if not for anything GEJ in one way or the other gave igbos some sense of belonging. My take on Abia state is, we should vote out PDP in Abia and vote massively for GEJ despite hes shortcomings. 34 Likes |

Should we throw away our sense of reasoning because we need a change? Isn't it same way GEJ fooled you all in 2011 with the i had no shoes tells? I supposed you obtained one or two degree as you asked earlier? @ the bold part, GEJ is the president and not a soldier. President can only give order but cannot go to battle field. When the north are ready to end Boko haram they will do so. Haven't you read or heard about our soldiers from norther origin linking our military strategies to bk? I would like to believe that those known coup plotters are only delusional to think that they will EVER again be allowed to dictate the fate of millions of Africans in their own land. koonbey: Inasmuch as the APC is not the Opposition we might have wanted, its also known that the Incumbent is far from being a Democrat's Fantasy,so...we manage, until we can push all of them out and put People there who know what they're about. The Fact does not change that if the PDP retains Power in 2015,it will only entrench the Corruption and Impunity which Pervade our Nation and make it much more difficult to dislodge them at any Time in the Future, whereas voting APC in will keep both the incumbent and the Opposition on their Toes once they realize that the Power, truly is with the People. Sorry for quoting you third consecutively times, because i hardly quote APC members or PDP as i don't like to involve in any Nigeria political argument. I am not a PDP neither APC nor do i advocate for one Nigeria or continuity of this colonial masters experiment call Nigeria, honestly i have no party and i have not participated in any Nigerian election by voting any politician in. But i am a strong defender and advocate of my lovely Igboland unity, you have me commenting on this topic because it has to do with one of my state, APC is not allowed in our land. When you talk about democracy and people who haven't experienced it i just laughed at you because it is on record that in no time have Nigeria ever experienced true and healthy democracy. Can a cleaner with a broom but has no Parker make a good cleaner? Just a simple question, as for me Anambra does not need a gang star party or should i say children of anger party to achieve it goals. If i may have my way, my first target will be to outlaw this islamic party just as it was nicely done in Egypt. APC is a threat to any democracy, a party that condemns anything done by any Government. This party called APC must be very dangerous than cancer. 6 Likes |
