PoliticsRe: Election: Thugs Invade Oliha Market In Edo, Chase Away Traders Supporting APC by abc115: 7:03pm On Sep 10, 2020
ojbaba95:
The popular Oliha Market in Benin City, Edo State, was thrown into confusion on Wednesday as thugs invaded the market and chased away both traders and customers.

The thugs are alleged to be loyal to the state government and Peoples Democratic Party.

They are said to have barred anyone from selling goods in the market, according to some traders, who spoke with SaharaReporters.

The people claimed the thugs were infuriated because a trader in the market was seen with Adams Oshiomhole of the All Progressives Congress.

"I was asked to send a woman away from the market because she was seen with Oshiomhole during campaign.

"They then said I should mobilise traders to follow Obaseki to PDP and vote for him but I told them that everybody had the choice to vote for whoever they want.

"Suddenly today, over 10 PDP thugs in the area came into the market and started shooting sporadically.

"Everybody had to run for their lives. As it is now, nobody has been able to return to the market," Chief Sunny Erahengbo, Chief Security Officer of the market, narrated to SaharaReporters.

He added that the thugs were escorted by some police operatives.

He urged the state police command to ensure the safety of residents in the community.

"The Commissioner of Police should please do the needful and secure our lives and our traders.

"The police should take action before things turn around and people are being killed," Erahengbo added

Foreign AffairsBrazilian President Threatens To Punch Reporter In The Mouth by abc115(op): 10:17am On Aug 24, 2020
Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro on Sunday threatened to punch a reporter repeatedly in the mouth after being asked about his wife’s links to an alleged corruption scheme.

“I so want to pound your mouth with punches,” the far-right president said when a reporter from O Globo, posed the question.

The reporter was part of a group that met Bolsonaro after his regular Sunday visit to the Metropolitan Cathedral in Brasilia. The president ignored protests from other journalists after the remarks and left without making further comments.
Soon after the president’s outburst O Globo issued a statement repudiating his “aggression … towards a journalist from our newspaper that was carrying out his job in a professional manner.”

Such intimidation “shows that Jair Bolsonaro does not acknowledge the duty of a public servant … to be accountable to the public.”

FamilyYou Are The Problem, Not Your Marriage by abc115(op): 9:16am On Aug 24, 2020
Most times when a marriage is in trouble, people tend to see their Marriage as a mistake rather than seeing the mistakes they are making in their marriage. At this point they regret marrying their wife or husband, begin to think of a new partner, imagine marrying their ex or fantasizing a marrriage without issues.

Some even divorce or remarry and later wish they had remained with their first Spouse, as they find greater trouble in the new spouse. This is because the first marriage was not a mistake, and the mistake has not been discovered yet.

So you can remarry as many times as you like, you will still experience problems in marrriage until you discover the mistakes you are making in your marrriage and correct them.

So divorce or separation is not a solution to consider when you are having problems with your marrriage.

When your car has a flat tyre, you do not abandon it, but change the tyre and move on.

When we have a headache, no matter how excruciating, we do not cut off the head but take care of the headache.

When a bulb blows out in the room we do not change the room or the house, we replace the bulb and light up the room.

When we have challenges at work, we do not refuse to go to work, we go there to solve the problems.

So when marriage has an issue, we don't have to try to change the spouse instead of changing the attitude that is creating the problem.

Most times when we see some couples enjoying their marriages and enjoying each other to the fullest, we admire and cherish them, but the opposite is seen in our own marriage. The reason is that some people have worked on their marriage by paying the necessary price and that is why they are enjoying the fruits of their labour. It is said, “The way you make your bed is the way you will lie on it”.

Your marriage is as good or as sweet as you make it. Some couples, because of the negative things they are seeing in their marriage, accuse each other of being responsible. They point accusing fingers at each other for being responsible. Some even say many bad things about their spouse, even calling him or her names; some think that marrying that man or that woman was a mistake.

It is not so, your marriage was not a mistake, but you are the mistake.

Your habit is the mistake
Your character is the mistake
Your manner, anger, unforgiveness, laziness, lack of love, lack of affection, lack of attention, impatience, bitterness, selfishness, ignorance, stinginess, not being considerate, infidelity and lovelessness are the mistakes.

Talking about bitterness. Some still dream of a marriage with their ex seeing your spouse as a stumbling block. Wake up to the smell of coffee. Be content with your spouse. That behavior is your mistake.

So get up now and build your marriage because it is not a mistake.
Divorce or separation are never options.

*May God bless all marriages*

Kenmatt:
If actually PDP have left this project unattended since 2015, it simply means PDP was actually raising this structure with tax payers' money.

As they are no longer controlling the tax payers' resources, the project building stopped, hoping to start work again should they regain power, then they can have absolutely control to siphon the treasury as they wish.

God saved us all from these men and women.
That is why, their Godfather-Governor called them Party of Tax Collectors.
