Holy Moses!!! South Africans Blasts Okorcha,Zuma For Erecting Zuma's Statue


The Imo state governor, Rochas Okorocha is currently in hot soup for erecting the statue of South African President, Jacob Zuma.


As a fall out; South Africans have taken to social media to vent their anger for the governor to erect an honorary statue for a man who is facing over 700 cases of corruption charges in his home country; blasting IMO state and Nigeria for raising a statue for Zuma.

"Rochas Okorocha is really an international disgrace and a punishment for IMO state and Nigerians.
Rochas is always on the news for the wrong reasons. Now we have been tagged as drug dealers. What a disservice by Rochas Okorocha. I hate him. Imagine such an international labeling ? DISGUSTING!!!'' a Nigerian lady wrote on her social media handle.

Graphic Photos: Imo Landlord And Five Children Kill Tenant Two days To Wedding


A landlord in Owerri , the Imo State capital , Paul Oparaugo, and five of his six children allegedly stabbed to death their tanant , Udochukwu Iwuoha, on Wednesday.
Iwuoha, who hailed from Agbaja in the Nwangele Local Government Area of the state , was to traditionally wed his fiancée on Friday ( today).
The tragedy was said to have occurred at No .
50 Onumonu Street in the state capital between 9pm and 10 pm.
After allegedly killing the artisan , the family of seven reportedly fled the area.
Neighbours were said to have vandalised their property.
A neighbour , who declined to be identified, told PUNCH Metro on Thursday that the family ensured that the victim died before they left him .




He said, “ The incident happened on Wednesday. Udochukwu had told Paul Nwachukwu , who is a security guard at a branch of Guaranty Trust Bank , to stop rearing chickens behind his apartment.
“ He told him that the smell and noises of the chickens were affecting his health ; but the family took his observation as an insult .
“ They beat him up before stabbing him . A neighbour, Godspower , who came to rescue Udochukwu ( Iwuoha), was stabbed in one of his hands.
“ The man, Paul Oparaugo and five of his six children – Chiemezie, Ndubuisi , Ugochinyere , Chidera and Deborah – committed the dastardly act . It was the last born, Michael , who is in primary school , that didn ’t take part in the murder. ”
An unidentified friend of the slain man said , “ He had complained that his landlord was always on his case. ”



Another neighbour , who identified himself simply as John , said all the hospitals that the victim was taken to on Wednesday rejected him.
John said, “ The hospitals demanded a police report because the injuries were too much. Before we could get the report, he died.
“ We have reported the matter at the Owerri Urban Police Station . Policemen came here, and his corpse was deposited at a morgue. ”
The state Commissioner of Police , Chris Ezike , who confirmed the development to our correspondent, said he had ordered that the case be transferred to the homicide section of the Criminal and Investigation and Intelligence Department of the state police command .
Ezike said , “It is a case of a family feud. Some youths in the area wanted to take the law into their own hands, but we were able to calm the situation .
“ The suspects are known ; they are on the run , but they can’t run for too long .”

Nigerian Olympic weightlifter in the 80s, Iron Bar Bassey, is now a construction worker in Lagos after allegedly being abandoned by the Government


51-year-old 'Iron Bar' Bassey was an athlete who represented Nigeria in Weightlifting at the 1984 Olympic games in Los Angeles. He however had an injury and couldn't continue in the sporting event.
Sadly, government allegedly abandoned him to his fate and he recently relocated to Lagos to provide for his family. Read the account of a man who had a one-on-one conversation with him....
UNCOMMON SELFLESSNESS
This is a story of a man who does what most Nigerians will naturally not do. He is a husband, father, a Nigerian (from Cross Rivers State). He is a construction worker. His name is Mr Bassey a.k.a 'Iron Bar'.
He got injured as a weightlifter for Nigeria in the 80s. In more organised countries with responsible governments, he will be taken care of and he will lack nothing.
Not too many people pay attention to his rare community service which he started in 2015 right after he left his family in Calabar to work in Lagos.
He met an old woman on Badore-Addo Road, Ajah, walking and felt troubled to see such an elderly woman stressing herself under the hot sun. He went to find out why, the woman told him the traffic on the road was unbearable so she decided to walk. Out of concern, Mr Bassey decided to know the cause of the traffic and how he could solve the problem that day, if possible.
During his finding, he observed that some pot holes ahead caused vehicles to slow down, thereby causing the traffic to build up behind. He decided to fix it and his effort that day, though took a while, paid off.
He also discovered that the dredging activities along the road cause sand to block the gutter, blocking the flow of water on the road, which spoils it constantly. Seeing that the government is not paying attention to the road, he decided to make it a duty to always fix the road and clear the sand from the gutter to make water flow unhindered in it.
Mr Bassey resumes at 5am and closes at 11am each day. This has become his office (doing the job meant for the Government, LASTMA and police).
He is not paid by anyone to do this (some good Nigerians dash him money for food as they drive by.
From Sunday to Sunday, Morning to Night, he is always there working under the Sun or Rain. Many may think he is mad, but he said he is not, he is sane and hope others can do same.
As Nigeria clocks 57, we need such men to be celebrated so that there will be a ripple effect of such selfless acts. He may have decided to look the other way like most of us will, but he faced the problem.
If you reside in that area, show him some love, stop and discuss with him. Take photos of him and with him. He is quite friendly and approachable. This could motivate some people on the street to follow his foot steps.
Cheers to this stand out man, Mr Bassey 'a.k.a Iron Bar'. He is definitely the real MVP.
This is an inspiring story of selflessness in a majorly selfish place.

In what seems to be like a new breeding party crisis, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) has dashed the hopes of the party's governor's forum chairman and the current governor of Ekiti state, Gov. Ayodale Fayose, of becoming her 2019 presidential flag-bearer to the rocks.

The party has declared that it will not support of the governor's presidential ambition and asked him to respect the party's zoning arrangement.

The PDP, through the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Prince Dayo Adeyeye has admonished 'to respect the decisions taken by the party on zoning.'

“The highest organ of the party, which is the national convention, zoned the presidential ticket of the PDP to the North. That has not changed. The same national convention zoned the position of the national chairman to the South. The convention has yet to change any of these two." uterly surprised Adeyeye declared.

He continued, “That (national convention) is the supreme organ of the party. Those decisions are binding on all members of the party. Nobody can alter these decisions."

Prince Adeyeye wondered why Fayose would want to disobey the party despite his position as a leader, Adeyeye further said,“The governor is a member of the party and was at the convention where these decisions were taken. As a leader of the party, one expected the governor to respect the party and its decisions. If someone in such an office is breaking the decisions of the party, what do you expect from the rank and file."

Recall that Ifeanyicy.com reported that Fayose had sent his official letters of declaration of intents to the executives of the party to inform them about his decision to run for the Presidency on the platform of the PDP.

The governor who has dared the party has continued in his plea for support, damning the party's stand on zoning of presidential ticket and party chairmanship.

Governor Ayodale Fayose has written to his party, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) declaring his intentions to contest for the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on the party's platform.


In a letter obtained by Ifeanyicy.com and written by Ayo Fayose Presidential Campaign Organization (AFPCO) and signed by the governor it read in part " It is with deep sense of responsibility that I write to inform you of my intention to seek the ticket/mandate of our party to contest the 2019 presidential election, considering your support and commitment towards our great party, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) it becomes imperative to keep you informed and seek your support"

This is coming in direct disobedience the party's directives having zoned her presidential slot to the North.

Fayose said "This ambition however is without prejudice to our party's position, but in the overall interest of the party and our country" having apparently ran foul of the party's zoning decisions.

His formal declaration ceremony comes up on the 28th of this month at Chelsea hotel in Abuja.

WHO KILLED MISS VERA UDECHUKWU?


Ladies and gentleman,

In the interest of justice and public safety, I am compelled to make this sad story public. I simply could not stomach it.

The story was brought to my attention by a friend and I am convinced that the public should know about it and be on guard.

Miss Vera Udechukwu is, sorry, was an indigene of Oba in Anambra State. She was 24 years old.
She met and fell in love with a young man called Jerry Ugochukwu Ohale, an indigene of Urualla, Ideato in Imo State. The guy is based in Ghana. They decided to get married.

Late August this year, they did their traditional wedding at Oba and the girl joined the husband in Ghana immediately after and they started planning their white wedding.




Then tragedy struck!

Barely two weeks after the traditional wedding, precisely on the 10th of September 2017, Vera was murdered in cold blood. The Ghana Police authorities discovered her body and managed to establish contact with her family in Nigeria. The family was contacted the next day, September 11, 2017.

The intriguing part is that the husband, Jerry, is nowhere to be seen. The Police in Ghana has since launched a manhunt for him. They suspect he has fled Ghana and returned to Nigeria.



Preliminary investigations by the Ghana Police show that the girl was brutally tortured to death. She was killed in the most gruesome circumstances.

Many questions arise.

Who killed this young lady?

Could it be her husband?

Why is the guy on the run?

Why has he disappeared?

The facebook group, Ifeanyicy.com learnt, goes by the name 'Sisterhood Africa'‎ and it is strictly for women.

According to the Group's info; the owner of the group Nonnie Robberson said "Sister-Hood Africa is a house of mind bugging Testimonies and solutions. A forum where women share their diverse issues, challenges.... "

It sounds jokingly but it is true.
