Fortune tellers / psychics using dark powers, can alter people's destinies - they are false prophets - and will lead people ultimately to doom (like King Saul).

In case you are not aware, the bible tells us that even false prophets can do miracles. And the antichrist is said to be able to call down fire from heaven like elijah, causing people to believe.

so if you say psychics are false prophets, and you say you are a psychic....does that make you a false prophet?
this is the reason why you shouldn't box things up in black or white....every psychic is not a prophet of doom, and every "born again" is not as holy as you think.

to answer your original question, born again christians can be psychics, matter of fact true born again christians are supposed to be psychic because to be born again simply means to be regenerated in the spirit and a psychic is someone who can perceive spiritual forces.
now wether these forces are beneficial or detrimental is a different question
