Can you remember the number of Nigerians who went on exile under buhari back then...OK it's military rule so he can chase people away from their home...

let's get under Democratic rule..

Can you remember the number of those who ran away just for criticizing government under Obj? 1999-2007?...

What about Yar'adua?...can you remember? even the el-rufai making noise today ran away from Nigeria cheesy

Under Jonathan nobody ran away...no matter what you say, nobody will come after you...only sadists or liars won't acknowledge this or thank Jonathan for respecting their right...good night
Those who ran away under any democratic regime knew why they ran away, Nobody chased them away.

Just like we did under Buhari then or even under Obj recently or Yar'adua without going on exile or being molested...I give it to Jonathan...he is the only president under whom we NEVER had anybody going on exile due to witch hunt...
I give Jonathan nothing because to start with He has no powers to send any Nigerian on exile.

On a more serious note tho. All these SS/SE nonsense. Don't you guys have reps? Can't your elected reps/senators move a motion in the house? Can't they try to do something about this? By getting your reps, governors and senators involved in your open call for secession, you'll give your movement the needed legitimacy!

So why all these my belle o my head o noise?
Awon afoju oshi!!
Why are you telling these guys what to do? I heard they now have reps in the UN so leave them to go argue at the UN. It's not like we don't know how all the noise will end by December.

Did the call for restructuring start today?...No
Was it none existent during Jonathan tenure?...No
What did he do about?...Confab was to address this agitation...
What such achieved?... Yes..some quasi-restructuring was agreed upon in the final report which is reason why some who benefit from present scenario want him out...
Why continual agitation? because buhari and APC didn't support confab report implementation which would allow for some restructuring hence would likely allow the report to gather dust...thanks

BTW I am free to write my article any day I deem fit...Jonathan guaranteed me my freedom before and after speech...will buhari and APC do same?...,tomorrow will tell...go write yours...dalu[/quote

I know you guys worship Jonathan your Grand Master but please don't give him glory for miracles he never performed. You are free to express yourself as a Nigerian citizen, that's your right in the state so even your Master won't agree with you on this one.

I wish this was true but not at all...they only need the little spread of 25% in less than 5states from all southern states...It's really pathetic and painful to see oneself playing second fiddle in one's country...
Just like the South needs the little spread of 25% in 7 states and the FCT in all Northern states and Nobody is playing second fiddle, one can't just do without the other.

Thanks so much...this is the driving force for this topic but people see it from a myopic lens of Jonathan thing...Jonathan is going by May 29th. But the injustice remains...NObody will ever be president again without permission from the North instead of people to unite against this...they mostly SW feel they are doing Jonathan by absconding from this...
Same way nobody will ever be President without permission from the South. It's a two way thing so stop playing the victim card.

If Al-Makura pays 5 billion, Fashola should pay 125 billions!
What year did you give Fashola trillions of dollars?
@post
Things don't work that way in a democratic society and we need to understand that even if GMB STOPS corruption in the country, we don't generate enough to satisfy our needs so that 1 trillion will be chicken feed when GMB calculates the amount he will need to solve most of the nation's problems.

Politics / Re: PDP Commends Police Interception Of Rivers State Govt House Loot By Amaechi by AhmedMustapha(m): 3:12pm On May 14, 2015
APContherun:
…Says We’ve Been Vindicated
The Rivers State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, says its earlier and persistent alarm on the looting spree and other illegal activities by the out-going Governor Amaechi, his family members, particularly, his wife, Judith, and aides in the Government House and other government institutions has again been justified.
The PDP, commending the men and officers of the Rivers State Command of the Nigerian Police, who intercepted the truck carrying looted items from the Government House, Port Harcourt yesterday, Sunday, May 10, 2015, says it is unhappy over this illegal and criminal development which seems unabated and unchecked thereby allowing the perpetrators to have a field day looting State-owned facilities and huge funds.
The Party considers its position vindicated with the latest seizure of a Toyota Camry Car with Registration Number: KRK 340 AA, belonging to one Mr. Chant, which was used in escorting a Mercedes Benz Truck with Registration Number: LA 086 MA, carrying several items from the Rivers State Government House, Port Harcourt, on Sunday, May 10, 2015, at about 7pm.
Items looted and moved out under the instruction of the out-going Governor (Amaechi) in the truck include, among others, three big Safe containing large sums of money, domestic utensils, sound-proof generators, computers, fridges, foreign furniture, electrical and electronic gadgets etc.
The PDP describes this looting galore by Gov Amaechi and family members as capable of wrecking the State and the people, calling on the security agencies and the people to be proactive and rise against this unholy act before it gets out of hand.
The PDP calls on Gov Amaechi, his Wife (Judith) and all officials of the out-going APC government to search their conscience, and desist from running the State aground before leaving office, saying its eyes are open on checkmating their activities until the final whistle is blown on May 29, 2015, when a new government will certainly be formed in the State.

Mr, pls read the Judge position/Judgement. He never said due process wasn't followed. Sanusi never even made such request. The Sanusi and Osinbajo went there to STOP investigation and probe. Which the foooolish Kangaroo Judge granted

That was what the idiotic Judge said without recourse to the original indictment.
Words from Mr Sanusi's Team

" He said the Council’s report lacked integrity since
the FRCN neither gave him fair hearing, nor
allowed him the opportunity to respond to the
weighty allegations contained in the Briefing Note
to the President.
Besides, he said a review of Sections 7, 8, 11, 25,
28, 58(2) and 62 of the FRC Act 2011 revealed
that the Council lacked the AUTHORITY and POWERS
to conduct the investigation it was seeking to
undertake."
" He gave the reasons as bias, breach of the rules
of natural justice, absence of statutory powers,
violation of the rule of law, and the Council’s
attempt to carry out an investigation considered
prejudicial to good public administration and the
special position of the CBN."

From that you see clearly Mr Sanusi stated breach of the RULES of natural justice. So the court gave that ruling agreeing with Mr Sanusi that the rules weren't followed.
