Please guys I need your advice on my case, I just got admission to study IT engineering at Wedel in Germany, but my problem now is that I have not received an appointment date from the consulate and my resumption date is Oct first, from the Information I got from the German website, it takes time to get the appointment and the visa processing done, so am now scared ,the time I have won't be enough which is 15th of May to 30th September. For me to get the visa, so I requested for an extension in start date from the school they said they can only shift my start date to next semester, so my dilema now is can I still use the admission letter given to me to continue the visa process or should I cancel the appointment and wait for next semester to start the visa application all over again. And I was asked to make a quick decision by the school , so please what would you advice me to do.

Bros, chill. You don't need to rush

I thought I was supposed to print out and sign the filled application form from uniassist website. But after filling the form on their site there is no place where my signature is needed on the pdf form/print. Did I miss something, I am planning to send the form to uniassist tomorrow . Pls folks who have done it before, do you sign on any part of the form before sending it to uniassist or just send it that way.

Nothing is wrong. That's the new trend with uni assist

Good evening guys.I have an undergraduate degree in Accounting I am also a chartered Accountant.I wish to undertake a masters degree, but I don't know which is less competitive with a very high chance of getting Admissions.I have tipped an M.A in Accounting and Controlling or M.A in International business in H T M,but I don't know if I can easily get admission to these programs, if not which programs are less competitive and easier for me to get admissions.God bless you as you advise me on this.

Kindest Regards.

If the courses are not restricted, you'd have a better chance to get admitted so far you meet the needed requirements. Do check the programs catalogue thoroughly to see if you stand the chance.

Thank you so much for the prompt reply. I was majorly worried about paulinus because he can start doubting me or send me back is it possible. Because for the VO the document is easily verifiable. Do you think paulinus can send me home for that?

Arrange your papers in order and do not give him the impression that you have a lag. I read this from part 5, and I'm sure you will have a way through as well.

Be cool and calm.

God's speed my brother

Hello fam. I have an urgent enquiry. Must a sponsorship letter be original for it to be accepted at the embassy. I have my scanned copies and the original is on courier may not arrive before my interview. Will i be denied. Or can i explain to them.

I don't think you can be rejected for that reason. Show the VO the scanned copy, and let he/she know the original will soon get you.

I don't know what that grade stuff is referring to, but most likely your cgpa.

Total ects possible in Nigeria system is 240 ects

Your completed ects should be 240 as well

Hope this will help

Are the 5 schools requesting for the motivation letters? It's better you go through individual sites and confirm the ones that need it and the ones that don't.

Motivation letter is a sure way to boost your chances of getting an admission. Even if the school does not request for one (which is rare though) a smart student should write one for a better chance.

Thanks for your reply. What will then happen to my student visa? Do I also need to withdraw it and reapply?

After your school has confirmed your deferred admission, send a mail to embassy with a copy of your deferred acknowledgement from your school. Embassy will definitely reply you on the next line of action.

Do keep every thing in prayer bro

I know someone who got to germany 7 weeks after lectures started. he said it was difficult to catch up and he had to drop some courses (Schooling in Germany no be beans). So it depends on you and your course. If it's engineering, I will advise you defer to next semester so that you can be ready. But if you feel that you can catch up, then fine.

....also, if it's economics, kindly defer as well.

I was offered admission to study in Munich (MSc). I did my enrollment in proxy and funded before visa interview. It’s been 4 weeks into lectures now and I’m not yet in Germany because of delay in visa. The last info I got from the embassy is that my visa application is still under review. Since lectures have already started, would this negatively affect the outcome of my visa?

What was the exact date you got the reply from embassy?

People residing in Abuja I just got information that someone was posted to the Abuja consulate for interview. All he did was to put his location as Abuja when booking.
Edit: He later said he booked under category A and and said yes he has scholarship even without scholarship, hoping to explain to the Vo on the day of his interview

Dude is already shooting himself in the leg

Nothing to worry about. Just go with both passports. Don't cancel and rebook cos there are a lotttttttttttttttt of people who booked since last week and haven't gotten dates yet.
So just go with both passports on ur date. And show them to your VO. normally, ur new passport would carry all old information.
Someone here has done that before, and is currently in DE

It cost the embassy absolutely nothing to deny anyone with a wrong passport number an entrance to her premises. It is left for the dude in question to play safe or not. Cancel your booking, speed up the collection of your new passport and book with the new passport number.

Always play safe and act smart.

I'm currently in a fix right now. Just applied for appointment at the embassy but did booking with my expired passport and I'm yet to receive my renewed passport which should be around next week. Now I was just informed that my passport number will likely change( I wasn't aware about this) as against the one I used in booking appointment. What do you guys think I should do? The passport expired 2017. Should I cancel the appointment or mail them and explain.

I think it's best you cancel your appointment and get your new passport asap

Hello guys, good day y'all.

I noticed the change in booking appointment online as i tried to book an appointment last Friday. I reside in Lagos, I've gotten my AL from UDE, Essen Campus. But when i tried to fill the form online, i was only seeing *i life in Abuja................* guys, what should i do now please. I'm A resident of Lagos and i also fall under category A since i applied for MSc program and i am a second class upper student. What should be my next line of action? Is it compulsory that I'll have to do my interview in Abuja?

Please help a brother

Enrollment in my campus starts from September 1 - 31 October

I will suggest you go through their site thoroughly, read every detail very very well.

Meanwhile, since you are a residence of Lagos, definitely you will have to book via Lagos consulate website . Also, you do not fall under category A sir, you belong to category B. This category issue has been discussed here, do check previous pages for more clarity.

Does this mean that each course have its own deadline? or which one is Exception

General application deadlines for applicants from non-EU countries
For the winter semester: 15th July
For the summer semester: 15th January

Exceptions:
for the winter semester:

International Management 15th May, extended until 31.5.2019

Intercultural Communication and European Studies (ICEUS) 15 May, extended until 31.5.2019
