Nigerian employers are one of the most strict employers in the world. Sacking no less than 2000 employees each year. The state of the nation is unarguably poor. The high rate of unemployment play a huge role in the disrespect of employees. Graduates no longer have respect or integrity in the job market. What are the factors that had contributed to this trend? Graduates work for low or no pay marketing and security jobs. what has gone wrong about graduating from the four corners of a Nigerian University? The following are some of the numerous factors that makes graduates incapable in the mind of employers. 1. Unemployable: According to a popular say, "a graduate is someone that knows something and almost about everything". The educational quality of Nigerians has been jeopardized over the years. Educational standards as at the post British era has been thrown out of the window. Corruption is one of the numerous contributors to this ugly trend. Just like a disease, eating up the educational, leadership and socioeconomic aspects of the nation. This disease like a retrovirus looks incurable in a nation that kept producing half graduates each year. A student can buy his/her way to the convocation ceremony but cant defend his/her way to a job position. This has left employers with no other choice than to dig deeper than that which has been certified in a certificate. 2. Highly competitive job market: Another popular say, "it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter heaven". Now rephrase the statement as this: "it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a graduate to go out of the labor market. Each year graduates keep trooping into the job market. The overall number of graduates coming out of the National Youth Service Corps each year is close to about 7000. Many jumping in without a clear plan or niche to operate. Therefore, there is a high rate of unemployment that makes employers eager to exploit the desperation of graduates. Paying them peanut salaries and using them maximally over what they can earn monthly. 3. Pride: Employers tend to boast about their achievements, making them feel that none of the university products can attain the level of achievement that they had. Such employers often nag about slight errors or mistake made by an employee. They have this mindset that Nigerian graduates can never be at the same level of operation as of those of the whites or foreign countries. These employers sometimes are school drop outs or dummies with bad results but find themselves operating above a University graduate. Entrepreneur is the way out for graduates with no experience. Digital marketing, Agriculture and trade to mention a few can curb insults and disgrace and can make the integrity of graduates to be back. Not just for ourselves but for our younger ones and children. https://teachmonk..com.ng/2017/08/why-nigerian-employers-make-fun-of.html

The spark that comes with a cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) test is from the brain through the fingers on a QWERTY keyboard. Taking soft drinks can come with their own spark. Making them the most widely consumed beverage, soft drinks are made from a combination of water, sweeteners and flavor. Most of the time we are tempted to take a chilled bottle before a CBT test but we fail to acknowledge the consequences. Here is a possible way your test can be ruined by taking a drink or so before. Test starts by 8:00am and you are feeling quite tensed ahead. 7:15am: probably at the exam venue, but since the test starts in the next 45 minutes, you suggest to take okpa (bambara groundnut) and pepsi (soft drink) to chill out a bit. 7:20am: At the eatery, order for one bottle of soft drink but the sales person decline by saying "sorry sir but there is no 30cl Pepsi Sir, we have only 50cl". No other option than to accept. 7:45am: Feeling ready for the test, perhaps more energized than your colleagues at the exam hall. 8:08am: you are felling great, the exam perhaps is not too hard, it is not too easy either and you are flying, 50 questions, already in number 25. 8:30am: suddenly you feel like you want to pee. The air condition kept blowing higher, not helping matters, the urge to use the toilet kept getting worse until you cant concentrate again. Probably feeling like your bladder is about to burst ![]() 8:45am: "Ma'am please can I use the rest room?" you call out to the human resource who was looking at you as if your head is paining you. "you know your time is still ticking" the HR reply, "just two minutes, I will be done with the rest room". you insist, then the HR gives you a go ahead but later changed his/her mind "Come back here!", "am sorry, it is either you complete your test and go or you quit the test. nobody is allowed to use the rest room when the test is still on"8:52am: back before your monitor screen, questions starring at your face, probably you will be thinking about the experience with the HR. "What was she thinking?" you ask yourself, Was he/she thinking that you might hack their computer database through the rest room or what? you hiss loudly. Much to the attention of the other candidates seated around you. "please quit nagging around you are distracting others" yelled the HR. 9:10am: the test lasts for an hour and 30 minutes. you are probably rushing the answers, no room for thinking again. The spark from the soft drink which you drank is now controlling the CBT test. ![]() 9:20am: At this point you give up, scoring lower than what you can do. that is how a bottle of soft drink can ruin your day. Soft drinks are carbonated, making it a bladder irritant, and can make you urinate more often than you normally would when consuming the same volume of a non-carbonated drink. Do you feel thirsty today? Are you in for a tensed work in about an hour? Are you working in an air conditioned room? Please just drink water. http://teachmonk..com.ng/2017/08/possible-way-taking-soft-drinks-before.html
