We are currently using funguforce at 100 grams per knapsack and it stops downy mildew dead on it's tracks,no fancy, elaborate or top secret concoction.

a 1 hp borehole pump can only open effectively 500 meters drip tape at once,but a 5.5 hp pump can open 1000 meters or more very effective at once,I don't think it is a good idea to fertigate NPK fertlizer through drip tapes, because the npk filler is mostly made from soil materials and it can block the emitters causing huge problems,pls use only water soluble fertilizers like urea,Haifa, maxiforce, potassium nitrate,plantzyme,boostxtra.and also as a reminder super gro is not a fertlizer.

I think it is physically impossible to harvest 17 bags from 490 crops at one harvest or do you mean the total cumulative harvest then it is fairly a good harvest,if 500 stands will give you 17 bags then a plot of 1500 crops will produce 51 bags which is not bad at all @ current price of #4k that will be #200k from one plot in roughly 3 months time,I am yet to see a practical crop that can pull such money from one plot in 3 months

I harvested the last bag today making it 18 bags from 490 stand.
that is my total harvest and today makes it 2months sine planting.
the plant has withered already

for your no 1 question it's better to check your market and see the type they prefer,maybe take a photo or two,so we can diagnosis the variety or you can divide the land and plant half of each and see the outcome.(2)from the practical experiments conducted in sacks,there's no possible way a cucumber planted on the soil direct will outperform those planted in sacks, because whatever nutrients that is applied in sack remains there,but nutrients applied on soil can easily leech into the soil after a heavy rain and go far down the root zone were it will be useless for the crops but the only drawback in sacks is the back bending,bone wrenching work of filling the sacks with soil.our cucumbers planted in sack are light years ahead of those planted on soil

SAME here in some part of Ibadan, in about 19 days, rain fell on my farm just two times.

I have resolve to daily watering.

3 bags from 800 cucumber(first harvest) , I don't know if that is a fair harvest, perhaps insufficient rain might be responsible for several fruits Inability to develop after pollination.
