Hello all, I have finally recovered my password. Someone here said that I am misleading people. Lol... With due respect sir, you have right to your opinion and freedom of speech. But before you go about calling someone out Kindly have your facts. I had issues accessing my AreaNews account because I changed phone, I couldn't remember the password. And the email I used is not a Gmail. Instead info@areanews.ng. and having issues with the website hosting. Let me not bother you with this. I had to quickly create another account with my real name Charles Love. Not everyone can do such, I don't have anything to hide. I did so so I can respond to many questions here about my post of Cotonou. Going forward: I want to state it again, yes, immediately you have your admission, you get your visa approval within 2 to 3 working days. That was the case of everyone that applied in November for study visa and it's 100%. As long as you don't use fake documents. Then said for tourist visa, it will take two weeks. I made it clear that you need to get some documents, like work permit and other necessary documentation that is needed to be eligible to apply in Cotonou. I gave details in my previous post. While you are here raising false alarm others are already using the medium to apply and will soon share their testimony here. I am not an agent, I'm someone that wants to travel like you. I got the information from a reliable source and it's legit. I won't be responding to emails anymore since the information is not being appreciated. I have done enough already for many that reached me. Also, I don't have access to the email yet. check my name signature for best option of communication. I have already dropped all the information needed here. Take it or leave. Mark my words, "it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for for you to get visa approval in Turkish embassy in Nigeria at this moment". Very few out of hundred get visa. Doesn't matter if it's study or tourist. It's what it's at the moment. Best thing to do is bycut them. And do elsewhere. But if you have money to waste go ahead. Stop applying in Nigeria oooo for now. 1 Like |

Don't waste your money if it's in Nigeria embassy you want to apply. You many not even get it in 1 month. If it's for study, it would have been slightly possible. Don't waste money... Shamsblooded: 1 Like |

Not too late. I wish I knew the information earlier. I would have gladly shared it. Let's all learn to share informations that will help others at no cost. However, if you have not been rejected yet. You can simply withdraw your application before you get rejected. Or you can wait to see if you will get approved from Nigeria embassy. But chances are rare. You can start a fresh process and get your visa within 2 days but outside Nigeria embassy. aeder: |

The US Consulate General disclosed this in a statement on Friday, adding that the approach would be two-fold. The United States’ mission in Nigeria says it will be expanding its operations to better serve the students’ population of Nigeria starting from November 24. The statement read, “This approach will be two-fold: a special procedure for students who need to renew student visas to continue their course of study, and a series of dedicated interview days for prospective new students.” “New Student Visa Applications: You may be eligible for a priority student visa interview slot if you are a prospective student seeking an F1 visa appointment and you have not been refused an F1 visa in the past six months. We encourage all students to submit the documents listed below as soon as possible to take advantage of this limited opportunity. Please note that in order to schedule as many qualified and interested students as possible, we are unable to accommodate any requests to reschedule your appointment. “Abuja applicants: Abuja students’ surge days will take place on December 8, December 15, and January 12. These surge days will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. To make an appointment in Abuja, visit www.ustraveldocs.com/ng and review the criteria and instructions to request an emergency student visa interview. “Lagos applicants: Lagos student surge days will take place on November 24, December 8, and December 15. These surge days will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. “Returning Student Visa Applications; if you are currently studying in the United States, you may be eligible for a special application procedure. To qualify for this procedure, you must be renewing a student visa that is still valid or has expired within the past 24 months and are renewing your visa either to: (a) continue participation in the same major course of study even if at a different institution; or (b) attend the same institution even if in a different major course of study. “Abuja applicants: Go to www.ustraveldocs.com/ng and follow the instructions to complete your visa application.” |
