Sports / How To Watch The AFCON In Egypt? by Arsenalholic(m): 3:41pm On Mar 23, 2019
Hi fam,

June is my birthday and I am thinking of giving myself a treat -- a well-deserved holiday outside the shores of Naija. And what better way to rest than showing up at a continental event to watch my favorite sport in the world?

I planned on travelling to Russia for the last world cup but ultimately failed. And I don't want history to repeat itself this time.

My question is:

1. What kind of VISA do I apply for that will allow me stay in Egypt for the duration of the AFCON or at least, the last 2 weeks of the tourney?

2. How do I get match tickets? Are they being sold already or I will have to get them when I am in Egypt? (I intend to watch other interesting games asides from Nigerian games)

Experts in the house please help your boy.

Thank ye.

P.S. Also I would appreciate if a travel expert can give an estimate of how much it would cost to fund a 2 - 4 weeks stay in Egypt.

Respect to them for keeping it low key.

It's their personal preferences and should be respected. Just like we should respect the preferences of others like Auba and co who like to drive really fast and expensive cars.

When I become this rich, I think I will be in the latter class, though -- driving modest cars. But God knows there are other areas of my life where I will spend without looking back grin

What's the effing meaning of "beauty wasted"?

Some of you need a brain check. Is it only ugly people that death should claim?

Send your condolences if you want to and stop focusing on mundane topics.

He will still squander it with his usual lazy way. She’s definitely better off without him.

Look at his fellow lazy bones men trying to make the woman look like the bad person here when she was actually paying him alimony and supporting his jobless ass. You people will never be satisfied with anything a woman does. If she was the one who was collecting money from him while laying around jobless after a divorce, y’all would be hot behind the ears calling her gold digger and ranting about how ‘the west’ gives women everything a man worked for.

Yes the right thing would be for him to compensate her for supporting his lazy ass.

Maturity dictates that you pass across your point without resulting to name callings. Or are you a street urchin?

Anyways, you can say whatever you like. But have it in mind that many people on here do not care about the things they type here. So stop being the staid matron on top an issue that you only heard one side of the story.

Lol. I love stories like these!

She talking from both sides of her mouth saying she has morals and all that. But with reference to him "doing the right thing" it shows she's not really what she wants us to believe she is.

Stand tall with your morals and remove eyes from all things concerning your ex husband grin

Politics / Re: Final Nigeria's Presidential Elections Results 2019 - BBC by Arsenalholic(m): 12:33am On Feb 27, 2019
God!!! I finally gave up on Nigeria on Saturday. Funny thing is that the APC won majority of seats in the Senate. It's going to be a serious bleeping this second term.

This man knew he was going to come back for a second term and still rammed c0ck into Nigerian's @sses -- what will he do in this second term when he has nothing to lose?

One thing I am sure of, between now and May 29th there will be a mass exodus from Nigeria. People are tired!

P.S. I am not a supporter of PDP or APC (I mean, they are both useless parties) but I really pity those celebrating up there and ridiculing the "wailers". Y'all know in your heart of heart that Mr. "Fresident" used the military and uncanny means to massively rig this election and the fact that it doesn't prick your heart that this country is messed up, it really makes me sad.

I never liked or fancied Jonathan for his docility and gross incompetence when in office. But when the man said "my ambition is NOT worth the blood of any Nigerian" and went ahead to prove it in one if the fairest elections this country has overseen, my respect for the man shot up!

All we asked from this Fulani tyrant was to give us a free and fair election. Yet, he connived with the military and street urchins to disrupt the process and lay waste to many.

May karma never forget!!!

Business / Re: Tips For Achieving Your Financial Goals In 2019 by Arsenalholic(m): 7:29pm On Jan 06, 2019
Good points.

When it comes to finances though, there's ONE big issue that plagues us -- many of us lack FINANCIAL LITERACY.

Robert Kiyosaki in His "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" book says that many are suffering because they are deficient when it comes to financial education. And it's true of MOST Nigerians because we don't read.

If you can take the time out to read books like "Think and Grow rich" "21 Success Secrets of Self-made Millionaires" this January, you will definitely start to see how to handle money and make it work for you differently.

Talking about reading, you should check out this new book from one of Nigeria's foremost netpreneurs. He calls this one "How to Turn Yourself into A Live Breathing Cash Machine"

They are trying to use Ktaglana's pace to hurt Ebere. Nice tactic.

But if this our coach has sense he should draft Rita diagonally down that wing to double up on her and allow Okobi fall deeper into the middle. Otherwise this Ktaglana girl will wreak havoc soon.

Many people just watch games without analyzing properly.

Stfu if you have nothing reasonable to say.

Nigeria's midfield was on top in the ist half. Okobi is a baller! And the duo of Ayinde and Rita showing their experience. They could do more though, especially with linking up with the attack.

quivah:

Yeah, because being a woman in Nigeria is a big risk now. We are potential victims, runs girl or legit or whatever. So long you are female, they see you as their potential money drawer.
Both young and old. I will have baby girls one day, I have female cousins and nieces and I fear for us.
We can't walk on the street now without checking left and right.
Suspecting that man who just passed by who mistakenly or intentionally rubbed his shoulder on us without checking to see if everything is intact.
We can't date rich guys cause his source of money, we don't know. Who knows if he's a ritualist, kidnapper or yahoo guy?
And poor /broke guys? We are scared too cause most of them are desperate to make money and will use those closer to them as a source. Take a look at those who killed that delsu student, do they look rich?
To keep male friends now na risk, if they dont rape, they kill for rituals.
You know your best male friend since primary school? Doesn't mean you can't be his potential victim if he wants.
That guy on the street who sends his 12year old neighbor on errands might likely do evil things to her the next day.
We can't conveniently dry our underwears outside now, pant snatchers are roaming all about.

Being a woman is Nigeria/Africa is a big risk. And yes I am pained, because people mostly men still find justification to these evil vices. You are a leech, runs girl, make your own money, student, married, single ....we are potential victims!

We can't even walk on the road these days.
Wow Sis, I feel your pains, I really do.

I wrote something similar on my Facebook wall recently. The country is lost for all times. And one way or the other we all collaborated in creating the demons that now hurt our society.

I have THREE sisters. I have countless female cousins. I have female friends. And the lord knows I fear for them. I send them words of advice, I pray for them and hope they won't be victims of a man's wanton lust for quick wealth.

I feel your pains, and the pains of every well-meaning Lady out there. Things have gotten out of hands. And the only few guys asking questions are being ridiculed and called names like "jealous, lazy bones" etc. I mean, the society is finished!

This Super Eagles team has a big problem: Score a goal and start to sit back trying to defend. And it's obvious we suck at defending.

Good teams try to score a goal and pour in even more to get into a comfy situation. It's not like South Africa is Brazil or France now that we should be sitting back against.

If we don't stop this nonsense our games are going to be continuously edgy

And oh, Iheanacho is no better than a bag of rice these days. It's just a shame Grenot Rorh doesn't make changes on time, Kelechi should be yanked off!

The Bafana Bafana could only win here because we were missing a glut of key players. I said it that day.

They couldn't beat Libya in S. Africa. And IF they mistakenly lose to Nigeria next game they could be in big soup because I don't see them beating Libya in N/Africa.

100K!

How many movies does she feature in over the course of a year? I guess not more than 6.

That's like 600K/year.... And wait for it, a paltry 50K/month.

All of that is worth throwing away your dignity for?

Another reason to work hard so my children don't start looking for icky alternatives like these that ruins one's reputation for life.
