talk2dhanny: NIM is very useful and is indeed an additional boost to your CV especially if you are pursuing a career in management. Outside the field of mgt, say finance, insurance, banking etc...companies do not exactly regard it for the knowledge u acquired from NIM but for d fact that you belong to a professional body (very important).
I studied Agric Econs and am about pursuing MSc. Management in Unilag. One of d requirements for that course for those that wern't graduates of management (or a similar field) is NIM. Chck out unilags postgraduate site Msc. Mgt to confirm.

this is true but i thnk what they are requesting for is associate member certificate and not graduate member cert. Giving to corpers meaning that you still need to progresss in the institute(NIM) to make it more useful.

jaydude: please has any one upgraded from graduate member to associate? please how does one go about that?

the asssociate membership stage has eight subject and as a graduate in relevant field u are to register for four papers and pay exemption fee to be exempted in four courses they are doing at graduate level. So taking the course as a corper just gives the advantage of not paying the exemption fee and writing the remaining four paper straight after paying. I think there exams is normally march and september

@poster, pls be wise when doing it because it can turn to another thing b4 u know it. Im a living example, i took up everything both rent and the wedding expenses because he was having challenges with his work then and the preparation was in pipeline. Infact, the main reason while i did those things is because i dont want my family to see him and his family as poor because it will reduce the respect they command(which i built anyway) but to my surprise its this family of his that told him that its desperacy that made me to do those thing and he believe them(which still baffles me till today) and b4 i know it all what i have been working for years b4 knowing him and even during the period just end. Im just getting use to the reality, so my sister be wise and moderate when doing it especially as it concern wedding ceremony. Dont let them take ur generosity for something else because i dont think there is anything that hurt like it.

@afad, im so sorry for the loss and i pray that your family will be compensated fully in all way by GOD. Pls take good care of your wiffy like u've been doing and i know GOD will continue to be with both of you. Infact, i cant help but cry.......

truth of the matter because its not how long you date that determine the success of the marriage but the willingness of the two parties involve to make it succeed. Its the willingness that will make them to tolerate and overlook each other flaws.

He was surprised now we live alone 2geda, when I come up with meals it surprises him, he said he thot am an ajeborta. Dats it, Guys are scared of nice girls dat shows love, affection care the whole package. When u over care for them in a relationship they grow a big head.

thats the truth my sister, so are so lucky u learnt your own lesson in time, in my own case, after everything(which i hate mentioning because it hurts) i was accused of luring him with my money and using jazz on him. Till this moment i still find it difficult to believe he could say those thing with his mouth. Anyway, i've hand everything to GOD and im sure HE will reward everybody accordingly.

jobfront: the traditional bangles given to me by my father-in-law and mother-in-law, plus pics, and several other cultural and traditional evidences should be able to convince them that i am married to the lady. i dont want a girl who never knew how i suffered to mke money and wealth to come tomorrow to claim my sufferings in the name of being my wife. she will only enjoy my wealth when she stays with me, if i die, she gets nothing cos she must be a suspec, so that she will be praying for me to live long life and not planning to kill me to inherit my wealth.
