Borno state Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum on Friday donated 70 patrol vehicles to the Nigerian Army, police and volunteers in the civilian JTF and hunters to support them in fighting insurgency in the state.

The vehicles were distributed to the security agencies during the launch of Rapid Response Squad in the state.



Top officers of the military, police and volunteers were present at the venue, held at the Sheu’s palace in Maiduguri. The newly launched outfits will assist in the fight against Boko Haram.

The latest released of patrol vehicles followed initial release of 160 patrol vehicles between June and September, 2019



Zulum also reiterated his commitment to security of lives and property in the state.

“I have said a number of times that this administration will not hesitate to take any measure or make any sacrifice in order to ensure peace and security returns to our state.”

“As the chief security officer of Borno state, it is my constitutional and moral responsibility to do whatever I possibly can in trying to secure the lives of citizens and doing that is the whole essence of government in the first place”



The Governor called on traditional leaders to assist the government with local intelligence that will assist in fishing out terrorists.

Zulum warned that under no circumstances should any citizen harbour insurgents and criminals.

“We cannot succeed in winning a lasting peace if we do not give maximum support to our security operatives by giving them information about the identities of culprits and their hideouts.



On no account should we protect or hide anybody with the evil intention of destroying our state. The consequence of conspiracy is gracious”.

Zulum praised the military, other security establishments and volunteers for their sacrifices in battling boko haram in Borno.

The near-silent drone is operated remotely by a pilot, a sensor operator and a Mission Intelligence Coordinator. It can also conduct surveillance, assist in search and rescue missions. The drone also allows US forces to conduct irregular warfare operations.

The Reaper has an endurance of 30 hours when conducting ISR missions. It decreases to 23 hours if it is carrying a full weapons load.

As of September 2015, the Air Force had 93 MQ-9 Reaper drones in its arsenal. Each of these drones costs $15.9 million, or ₦5.7 billion.







The laser-guided missile that was fired by the Reaper during the mission in Iraq is AGM-114 Hellfire Missile. Each of these missiles cost USD117,000 (‎₦42.5 million).

In October 2012, the U.S ordered 24,000 Hellfire II missiles, for both the U.S. armed forces and foreign customers.

A MQ-9 Reaper drone operated by US forces last week killed Iranian top security and intelligence commander, Gen. Qassem Soleimani.

The airstrikes, which targeted the car ferrying the General with pinpoint accuracy as he was leaving Baghdad airport, was authorized by Trump.

The airstrikes comes 7 months after Iran shot down a US Global Hawk surveillance drone. The highly advanced spy drone cost the United States $220 million, or ₦79 billion.

Let’s take a look at the deadly capabilities of the United States’ MQ-9 Reaper drone:







The MQ-9 Reaper system is a multi-mission, medium-altitude, long-endurance” aircraft that is designed to attack time-sensitive targets with persistence and precision. It can also destroy or disable those targets.

The 4,900-pound drone, which became operational in 2007, has a wingspan of 66 feet. It has a range of 1,150 miles and the ability to fly at altitudes of 50,000 feet. The Reaper has a cruising speed of roughly 230 mph.

Nigeria’s leading mini-bus transport company, Peace Mass Transit (PMT) Limited, has added a total of 50 brand new buses into its fleet.

The brand new buses are products its newly established Car Assembly Plant, located within the Emene Industrial Layout headquarters of the company.

Each of these Nigerian-assembled buses cost about ₦17 million. They are equipped with safety features such as EBS/ABS brake system, factory-fitted speed limiter and seatbelts for all passengers.




Inside, it has digital dashboard, on-board TV, DVC player, Multiple charging points and luggage controls. Free Wi-Fi services for passengers are still in the works.

The new buses has already been deployed to all the PMT depots across the country, according to PMT Executive Director in charge of operations, Enete Ifeanyi Henry Clinton.

Peace Mass Transit currently has an active fleet of 4,000 buses with at least 2,000 on the road daily. The company regularly freshens up its fleet to meet its customer expectations.

After inspecting the brand new buses on Monday, PMT Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Chief Samuel Maduka Onyishi, maintains he runs the company as a ministry and not strictly as a business.

“The brand new buses we are injecting cost almost ₦17 million per unit, but I have a pact with both God and our huge clientele to offer the best possible services at all, times,”

“Our customers deserve even more and no less,”

“We will never take their patronage for granted because they have brought us this far.”

He reiterated that the introduction of the new buses was a “strategic fleet rejig” and not because its vehicles had any maintenance issues or were about to be discarded.

“Our maintenance culture is top-notch and the team is manned by technicians and engineers some of whom were trained abroad.

All PMT vehicle plying the highway, are regularly checked for maintenance, to avoid breakdown. All our vehicles run on strong quality tyres which are replaced upon attainment of a certain mileage.’’

Mercedes-Benz has revealed a new Avatar-inspired concept car called the Vision AVTR at the 2020 CES. The acronym stands for Advance Vision Transportation. The car’s aesthetic was inspired by several creatures from the 2009 movie AVATAR.



The AVTR has no steering-wheel while the seats are made from vegan DINAMICA leather. The floor is decorated with an innovative wood called Karuun.

On the outside, the AVTR has 33 moveable reptile-like scales on the back, which Mercedes calls “bionic flaps”. Mercedes claims their function is to communicate with the driver.

“They can communicate with the driver and through the driver with their outside world through naturally flowing movements in subtle gestures”



During the unveiling, Avatar director, James Cameron, who collaborated with Mercedes to create the car, said:

“I see a future where we continue to co-evolve with our technology. We will merge, we will absorb it and it will become such a natural part of our lives,”



James Cameron added that,

“When I sat in this car you put your hand on the control interface and it just breathes, it seems alive, it’s organic”

The AVTR is only a concept car, so don’t expect to see it or any of its features on the road any time soon.

Former chairman of Nissan, Carlos Ghosn, who faces multiple charges of financial misconduct in Japan, has jumped bail and fled to Lebanon to avoid a Japanese trial.

Mr Ghosn is believed to have flown from Osaka to Istanbul in Turkey in a private jet, and then to Beirut in Lebanon, in another private jet.

Ghosn was released after posting $9 million bail in 2019. He was closely watched by authorities and had to agree to a number of strict conditions. These includes surrendering his passport and his inability to have access to the internet or email.

Sources said Ghosn is currently with his wife Carole at his home with armed guards outside.

It is unlikely that Ghosn, a Lebanese citizen, will be forced to return to Japan. This is because the nation does not have an extradition treaty with Japan.

Mr Carlos Ghosn has revealed that he bolted Japan to escape “injustice”. In Japan, 99% of suspects are convicted of their alleged crimes. Ghosn denies all charges and faces 15-years in prison.

Ghosn, who was arrested in 2018, had been indicted on four counts in Japan. His crimes and that of Director Greg Kelly includes under-reporting their salaries in the Tokyo Stock Exchange securities as well as personal use of company assets.

Despite being one of the best paid bosses in Japan, earning about $10.3m (₦3.7b) per year and $6.4m (₦2.3b) in 2017 when he gave up his role as CEO, he failed to report $44m (₦16b) over a five-year period since 2011.

Besides being chairman of Nissan, the Brazilian-born Lebanese is also the chairman and CEO of Renault, chairman of Mitsubishi Motors. He is also the chairman and CEO of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Motors strategic alliance.

Volkswagen is paying tribute to the iconic Beetle Hatchback, also known as Ijapa, with an emotional animated short film titled : “The Last Mile”.



The clips shows the story of a boy whose major life events—from childhood to elderly age—are shaped and influenced by the presence of a Volkswagen Beetle.

The short uses a rendition of the Beatles’ “Let it Be” performed by the Pro Musica Youth Chorus. The 1:30 mins clips ends with nod to Volkswagen’s electrified future.





This video comes a year after Volkswagen officially announced the end of its production. The last Volkswagen Beetle rolled off the assembly line at a plant in Mexico in July, 2019.

Two trucks belonging to Dangote cement company has been set ablaze by angry mob for allegedly crushing two people to death.

The accident occurred today (Tuesday) in Imowo in the Ijebu-Ode Local Government Area of Ogun State.



According to reports, the trucks hit the victims, a motorcyclist and a passenger, from behind and crushed them to death.

The Public Relations Officer of the Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps in the state, Babatunde Akinbiyi, confirmed the accident.



Akinbiyi said in a statement that the fatal accident occurred between Dangote Cement trucks and a motorcycle.

Akunbiyi said in a statement that:

“The fatal accident at Imowo within Ijebu-Ode along Ibadan road between two Dangote trucks and a motorcycle.

“Two passengers on the motorcycle lost their lives and hoodlums around the scene burnt two Dangote trucks on the road; and did not allow anybody to carry the two corpses on the ground for now.”

Akinbiyi also said traffic affected one lane of the road due to the reluctance of the mob in allowing the officials to remove the burnt trucks from the scene.

The Chiron-based car currently has an electric power train. It will be powered by Bugatti’s infamous quad-turbocharged 8.0-liter W16 engine .

The unnamed wealthy owner still have to wait till 2021 before taken delivery of this amazing machine.

2) Koenigsegg Jesko Hypercar



The successor to the record-breaking 1,360-horsepower Agera RS, was revealed in March at the Geneva international motor show.

It comes in Track and Top Speed variants. The faster version of the Hypercar dubbed the Jesko 300 is aiming for a 300 mile-per-hour top speed.

All the 125 that will be built was officially sold out just days after being unveiled despite the ₦1 billion starting price.

3) Lamborghini Sian



Among several super cars unveiled in 2019 is the Sian. The Sian, which means flash or lightning in native Bolongnese tongue, is the first electric car from Lamborghini.

The 819hp supercar’s ability to do the 0 to 60 in 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 350km/h makes it the fastest Lamborghini of all time.

Lamborghini will make just 63 of these cars, each with a starting price of $3.6million. That is more than ₦1.2 billion before shipping and duty payment at the Nigerian port.

4) Range Rover Defender



The redesigned all-new 2020 Land Rover Defender will rival the Mercedes G-Class and Jeep Wrangler. The tech-filled SUV is one of the most technically impressive off-roaders on the market.

Five trim levels are available: S, SE, HSE, First Edition (available for the first year) and range-topping Defender X. There are 170 optional features available to tune the SUV.

5) Aston Martin DBX



The DBX is Aston Martin’s first-ever SUV. It is designed to compete with bestselling SUVs like the Lamborghini Urus and the Bentley Bentayga.

The high-riding SUV has a full-length glass panoramic sunroof and full-grain leather-trimmed seats. It is priced from $189,900 or ₦68.6 million, minus destination and clearing charges in Nigeria.

6) Tesla Cybertruck



The Cybertruck is among several impressive electric cars unveiled in 2019. The 6-seater all-electric battery-powered pickup looks nothing like a traditional pickup you will find on the road.

Three versions of the truck will be available. The most expensive version, the Tri Motor All-Wheel-Drive, will start at $69,900.

This version will be able to carry 3,500 pounds and tow up to 14,000 pounds of loads. It will go from zero to 60 in 2.9 seconds and drive up to 500 miles on a full charge.

7) Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600



The Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 SUV is the first Mercedes-Benz mass produce SUV to wear the Maybach badge. The jet-like SUV is super luxury variant of the latest Mercedes GLS 63.

Unlike the 2021 Mercedes-AMG GLS 63, the absence of a third row seats gives the GLS 600 two captain seats in the back. It will compete with SUVs like Rolls-Royce Cullinan and Bentley Bentayga.

8 ) Mustang Mach-E



The all-electric Mustang Mach-E SUV is Ford’s first all-electric car. The Mustang-inspired SUV comes in five trims, all priced between $43,895 to $60,500.

The Ford Mustang Mach-E will rival electric cars like the Audi e-tron Q5, Jaguar i-Pace and Tesla Model S.

9) Mercedes-Amg GLS 63



The 2021 all-new Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 4Matic made its debut just about the same time that the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 SUV made its landmark debut in China.

The 2021 Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 will arrive next year, but Mercedes didn’t say how much they would cost.

10) Bollinger B1 SUV and B2 pickup truck



Bollinger all-electric B1 SUV and B2 Pickup truck are designed for extreme off-road use. The Hummer H1-style off-roaders will rival electric cars from brands like Tesla and Rivian.

Both the Bollinger B1 SUV and B2 pick-up cost $125,000 each. Bollinger Motors plans to begin production in 2021.

11) Lexus UX 300e



The Lexus UX 300e is the first production electric vehicle from the luxury division of Toyota. The all-new car is the battery-powered version of the Lexus UX compact luxury crossover. Its 54.3 kWh battery packs gives a 400 km (248 miles) driving range.

It will go on sale in the Chinese and European markets in 2020, and in Japan early in 2021. It’s just a matter of time before the Lexus UX 300e electric car reaches the Nigerian shores.

12) Nissan Juke



The new and redesigned Nissan Juke debuts after almost a decade since the model’s inception. It has full LED tech and a new Y-shaped signature which complements Nissan’s V-Motion grille.

The starting price of the 2020 Nissan Juke is expected to be in the range of ₦15 million in Nigeria.

Dubai-based big boy, Mompha, known for flaunting his wealth and luxury cars on social media, has shared a footage of himself cruising on okada on his Instagram stories. Mompha has remained in Nigeria since his release following the confiscation of his travel passport as part of his bail conditions.

Recall that Mompha, born Ismaila Mustapha, was arrested in Nigeria in October for his alleged involvement in Internet-related fraud and money laundering.

Mompha, who was detained for several weeks in EFCC custody, regained his freedom on December 11 after fulfilling the bail conditions.



Few days after his release, Mompha shared a clip of some of his luxury cars. He tagged it with :

Rivian just showed off an awesome feature on its R1T electric pickup which it calls “Tank Turn”  This feature allows the truck to do a full 360º turn without moving at all – the same way a tank turns.

The truck was able to pull off this zero-turn maneuver thanks to its quad-motor configuration — which allows each wheel to be driven independently.

Rivian says that both the R1T truck and R1S SUV will be capable of doing this awesome maneuver. Rivian has also trademarked the term “Tank Steer” and a similar term “Tank Turn”.

The 788 horsepower R1T is powered by four 197 horsepower electric motors, each attached to each wheel.



It comes with three battery options that will go 230+ miles, 300+ miles and 400+ miles respectively on a full charge.

The R1T is scheduled for the first deliveries late next year while the R1S electric SUV should follow in 2021.

The proposed 38 km long Lagos Fourth Mainland Bridge, will, when completed, become the longest bridge in Africa. Currently, the 20.5 km (12.7 mi) 6th October Bridge in Cairo, Egypt, is the longest in Africa.



The Lagos State Government on Wednesday unveiled 39 construction companies who are jostling for the construction of the proposed Lagos fourth Mainland Bridge.

Some of the construction companies that expressed interest in the project includes Julius Berger; China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC); Kyeryong Construction Company; Pythgoras Holdings and CRCCCI Nigeria.

Others are China State Construction and Engineering Corporation Nigeria Ltd; Bua International Ltd; China Jiangxi for International Economic and Technical Cooperation, among others.

The Special Adviser to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Works and Infrastructure, Aramide Adeyoye, said the bid opening was the first of the six stages before a winner would be selected.

Describing the process as very transparent, Adeyoye said the next step of evaluation will begin soon. She added that the construction companies that qualified for the next stage would be contacted.

The proposed 38 km long Fourth Mainland Bridge, will, when completed become the longest bridge in Africa. It will connect Lagos Island by way of Lekki, Langbasa, and Baiyeku towns and across Lagos Lagoon to Itamaga, in Ikorodu.

The bridge is one of the priority solutions to relieve the 11.8 km 3rd Mainland bridge of severe congestion. It will also open up new areas of Lagos State for future development and distribute socio-economic growth across the State.

A Berlin-based Ad agency for Mercedes-Benz, Antoni, has re-purposed a 1991 Mercedes-Benz 190 as one of its meeting room.

After purchasing the car for $940, Antoni worked with architect friends to transform the 190 into a four-person meeting room.



To create the mini-office, the floor and one side of the non-working 190 was removed. The front seats was turned around to face the rear, while the backseat was replaced with two bucket seats.

The trunk that normally houses a spare tyre is now a fully-stocked refigerated bar. It also has a functional cassette player.



According to Antoni, getting the car to the third floor of the building was the most difficult part of the project.

To get the car into the space, a heavy-duty transporter was used to tip it sideways to fit through the window.



About The classic Mercedes-Benz 190

The Mercedes-Benz W201, marketed under variants of the Mercedes-Benz 190, was the first compact executive car from Mercedes-Benz.

The 190 is powered by a M102. 921 engine producing 90 hp. The 190 E is fitted with an M102. 962 engine producing 122 hp.

The popular 1980s luxury sedan was discontinued in 1993 after the production of approximately 1.8 million examples. The Mercedes-Benz W202, produced from 1993–2000 under the C-Class model names, replaced the 190.

Two weeks ago, Nigerian automaker, Bennie Autos, unveiled a locally-made carbon fiber sports car named the Bennie Purrie.

The brain behind the “Bennie Purrie” is 25 year-old fabrication engineer and CEO of Bennie Technologies Ltd, Jerry Isaac Mallo.



During the unveiling, Mallo said he was  inspired to build the car because Nigeria and Africa are big market for luxury vehicles.

He also added that the resources to build the sports car are readily available in Nigeria.





The two-seater sports car features a full carbon fibre body. This flexible fabric-like material is stronger and lighter than today’s steel and aluminum parts.

Other features include gull-wing doors. This special door was pioneered by the 1952 Mercedes-Benz 300SL. It is also featured on the $3.5-million Pagani Huayra.



The Bennie Purrie is powered by a 130 horsepower 2.0 litre engine, that allows a 0 to 120 km/h in 12 seconds.

Mallo knows he needs to improve on the cars specifications. He said “there is big room for improvement and we won’t stop till it gets better”.

The first trailer for the new James Bond film ‘No Time To Die’ is officially out. The storyline for the new movie reads as follows:

Custom build specialist Brent Walter has taken apart an original volkswagen beetle to create two retro-styled mini bikes that he calls the ‘Volkspod’.

He repurposed the fenders from a Volkswagen Type 1 model by welding them together to create a custom frame.

It’s no news that Dubai-based social media celebrity, Ismaila Mustapha, popularly known as Mompha, has been arrested for his alleged involvement in Internet-related fraud and money laundering.

Hamza Koudeih, the Lebanese associate of Mompha, has also been arrested. The antigraft agency arrested him at his expensive rented apartment at Eko Pearl Towers in Lagos.

At a press conference organised by the acting EFCC Chairman, Ibrahim Magu, the antigraft commission claimed that Mompha and Hamza belonged to a network of organised cyber syndicate network.

Magu also revealed that,

“Koudeih, also has two firms namely: THK Services Limited and CHK properties Limited with which he has allegedly laundered about N19bn.

“Koudeih lives in a $5m per annum suite at the Eko Atlantic Pearl Tower, Victoria Island Lagos.”

Koudeih’s extra-expensive apartment is one of a kind. The apartment has fire-proof and bulletproof doors to deter would-be perpetrators from coming in.

EFCC said,

“It was very difficult to gain entry. It was almost like a standoff. We had to send for reinforcement of officers and breaching tools from the office. We had to breach the triple-reinforced fire-proof door before we could get in.”

To put how much he pays annually into perspective, the $5m, which is about ₦1.8 billion, will buy 100 Toyota Corollas. The popular “World’s Bestselling Car” starts at about ₦18 million in Nigeria.

According to the EFFC, Hamza Koudeih’s taste for luxury cars will make an Arabian prince jealous. The EFCC seized 2 of his luxury rides during the raid.

German auto giant Daimler is currently working on a Mercedes-Benz G-Class version that will be powered by batteries and electric motors.

The news was confirmed by Chairman of Daimler and head of Mercedes, Ola Källenius, while speaking at Automobilwoche Kongress in Berlin.

This move will transform one of Mercedes’ biggest gas guzzlers into a zero-emissions vehicle. The G500 and the AMG-G63 SUVs are rated at 14 miles per gallon.

”There will be a zero-emission #EV version of the #MercedesBenz G-Class. In the past there were discussions whether we should eliminate the model. The way I see things now I’d say the last Mercedes to be built will be a G-Clas”

Daimler boss also mentioned that there were discussions in the past to eliminate the iconic model. The SUV is one of the longest produced vehicles in Daimler’s history – with a span of 40 years. Only the Unimog surpasses it.

The prospect for an electric G-Class came in 2018 when Arnold Schwarzenegger put pressure on former Daimler Boss to do the project.

The Terminator movie star had a year earlier gotten behind the wheels of a custom G-Class that runs on batteries. The electric SUV, from Austrian-based Kreisel Electric, is from the same country where G-Class is manufactured.

The current G-Class is powered by a 4.0-liter biturbo V8 engine that produces 416 hp. It will do a zero to 60 mph in 5.6 seconds. The AMG G 63 version gets 577 hp.

Daimler had earlier stated that 50% of the Mercedes-Benz range will be electrified by 2030. Mercedes also said the combustion engine, which includes petrol and diesel powered Mercedes cars, will vanish in 2039.

Animal rights group, PETA, has condemned Chinese researchers after it emerged they have been using live pigs as crash test dummies.

The young pigs were starved for 24 hours and denied water for six hours before the experiment. They were only given an anaesthetic to reduce excitement and stress.

The tested pigs were strapped into various kinds of seatbelts before being slammed into a wall at 30mph.

Seven of them died immediately after the impact, while the rest survived six hours after the test. The eight that survived suffered broken bones and internal bruising.

The researchers found from the experiments that lungs were injured most frequently, followed by spleens, and livers.

In the 1990s, Dogs, Pigs and other animals were previously used as crash tests dummies in the United States. PETA staged protests in America forced General Motors to abort the practice in 1993.

PETA has written to the Institute for Traffic Medicine in China to urge them to stop using live animals.

“Despite the existence of sophisticated animal-free models, experimenters continue to fasten abused, frightened animals into car seats and crash them into walls until their bodies are bloody, bruised, and mangled.

“Live pigs are pulverised in these tests, leaving them with broken bones and severe internal injuries before they’re killed and dissected. 

“Pigs don’t naturally sit up in car seats. Their anatomy is also very different from that of humans, so the data obtained from these horrific animal experiments aren’t applicable to human car-crash victims. 

“Car companies figured out years ago that these kind of experiments are worthless and tell us nothing about a human experience in a car crash. 

“Using sentient animals in car-crash tests is cruel, archaic, and unjustifiable.”

According to Chinese researchers, they explained in their paper that the young pigs were intended to ‘mimic children of six years old. They also revealed that their research will help develop seatbelts for children.

The researchers insisted they had followed U.S. guidelines for the use of laboratory animals. They also said their study was approved by an ethics committee.

German automaker, Mercedes-Benz, achieved a new September record with the sales of 223,838 vehicles worldwide. This figure means a growth of 10.4%, taking the total number vehicles sold from January to September to 1,725,243 vehicles.

July to September saw a total number of 590,514 Mercedes-Benz vehicles delivered to customers. This sales is also the best third quarter in the Daimler-owned company’s history.

Daimler announced the earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) rose 8% to 2.69 billion euros, compared to 2.49 billion euros it achieved in the third quarter of last year. The net profit rose by 3% to €1,813 million (Q3 2018: €1,761 million).

Mercedes achieved these record sales despite the trade war, uncertainty about the Brexit, declining demand in China and other changes in the car market.

“We have posted the best-ever third quarter for Mercedes-Benz – a strong team performance of which we are extremely proud, especially in these challenging times,”

“In the year-end spurt, we want to further consolidate our ambition to remain the world’s leading premium automobile brand. Despite the highly competitive environment, we assume that Mercedes-Benz retail unit sales will increase slightly in the full year.”

“Strong sales at Cars and Vans supported our Q3 financial performance. However, in order to master the transformation in the next few years, we need to increase our efforts considerably: We have to significantly reduce our costs and consistently strengthen our cash flow,”

The compact cars were the key segment with a double-digit growth, while the C-, E- and S-Class also posted sales increases worldwide in September.

Mercedes-Benz maintained its market leadership in the premium segment in markets including Germany, UK, France, Belgium, Portugal, Canada and South Africa.

World’s biggest auto market, China, also achieved the best quarter of all time with 181,233 units (+12.9%) units of cars sold.

Daimler will be happy with these record sales after being handed $958m (roughly ₦346b) fine for its role in the diesel emissions scandal last month.

This settlement came a year after Germany’s government fined Volkswagen $1.18 billion (₦419 billion) over the diesel emissions cheating.

This armoured off-roader is not something you will likely see on the Nigerian roads. The 1of1 Showcar, called the Enok P1, is based on Mercedes G500 4×4. It was built by the German company Gruma, in collaboration with Armoured Car Systems.

The Armoured Mercedes G-Class was inspired by German Armed Forces’ patrol G-Class, designed to provide protection against assault rifle ammunition and against tank mines.

Powering this truck is the same 416-horsepower 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that comes with the G-Class SUV that it was based on.

Russia President Vladimir Putin on Monday arrived in Saudi Arabia in his first trip to the oil-rich kingdom in over a decade.

During his short visit, Putin signed oil agreements and discussed regional security with the nation’s king and crown prince.
